(complete) Holy Smoke Seeds Peshawar Afghan Coop Seed Run

A little mite damage. I haven’t been killing them religiously, only when there is an outbreak. At this point, I’m trying not to damage leaf resin. If I have to finish outdoor plants indoors next year, it will be in a separate room. What a pain in the ass. I spent hours killing aphids over the last 2 months and nearly wiped them out. Mites are harder to spot, especially on the purple and black Tirah leaves.

Did you try Neem oil ?
It helped me in the past when I brought some bugs in from outside.

Do you ever select for the ones who do not get pest damage? I know this run you said open pollination.

Of course I would, but Indoors it’s difficult because there are only a certain amount of plants for the bugs to eat and no other option for them. They eat what they must. I prefer outdoor growing and really dont have many issues when doing so. When I do have an issue it seems to be strain dependent and not plant dependent. . I’m growing for head stash this time anyway, except for Joe. All other seeds are casualties from the Joe pollination. Outdoors there were no issues with these. No bugs, mold or fungus to speak of. No complaints so far

Thanks for answering all my questions. I’m really excited to get these going!

I am happy to answer questions. It’s good to know everything about a strain before you grow it, if possible. These have been relatively maintainance free. Definitely top these. I have a Joe cutting going, and it’s a bean pole, but topped a couple of times, she’s gorgeous. Perfect even. I can’t wait to top a couple different plants and see how they do. All the plants have a similar structure, with advantages and disadvantages.
These are not thoroughly mold tested yet. Need to let some colas get rained on a few times to see. Small buds hold up great on Joe. Long harvest window.

Here are a couple of others. These are about as black as I’ve gotten. When in the sun you usually see purple red’ish or super deep green colors. Get them inside and they look black as hell. Not sure which of these is which.

Oh damnit dude
I love that red black color !!
Like I have always dreamed of making a black cherry strain and having it be a black cherry color :raised_hands:

Can you describe her terps at all ??!!

Nah, I can’t remember which. One was a Black Afghan cross to an Afghan CBD and it had a grape soda taste and terps.

Also, @Cristalin at USC used to have a Black Afghan that was really black. I never grew it myself.

I used neem oil until early flower. After that, just relentless squishing. The revegging Lambsbread plants had clusters of old bud on them. The perfect hiding place. They spray wouldn’t even get in there very well. I should have made a barrel of neem and dunked the whole plant and left it there 5 minutes.

Chop day for Joe. Seeds are all done, and the late flowers are ripe enough. I’m kinda sad. Happy to have all that space in my room back, though. She was a biggen. Should I smoke seed riddled bud or make hash out of her? I harvested that branch end a few days back, and it lasted only 3 days of work, with one days worth left. The bud gets pretty hammered getting the seeds out, and I’m ashamed to admit I nuked it to dry it fast, too. Still does the trick😁she’s hanging now. Newspaper below to catch seeds.
I’d say the tall plant is finished too. Not sure the flowering time in total. Couple more weeks for the other 2. Maybe faster.
I found a couple nanners on Miss Piss unfortunately. Not serious but they do have pollen in them. It’s the type that opens and pollinates the bud it’s in. Light schedule has been a little funky and I keep switching from metal halide to hps and sometimes one on each side…but nothing real out of the ordinary. She’s good smoke too. I’ll keep her seeds for personal use. She’s a little stronger than seeded/nuked Joe bud. Great head high. Here’s the nanners.

@Upstate what thread were we talking about the stone walls? I’ve scrolled around in a couple and my internet is all laggy so can’t seem to find it. I’ve got like 20 pics to post
