I’m pleased to say that the Daman #8 will be grown by the newest Freaker, @drgreensleeves.
The Balochistan Black Tiger selection will also be run as a Freakers strain by @Tejas.
Here’s a gorgeous black plant from. Kandahar. Nice shiny leaves. This plant was not only alive through cold spells, but by the looks of her she was enjoying it. This is the only black plant I have ever seen that has that shine to it at chop time.
In between jobs I had a quick smoke of Old Silversides Oaxaca, my favorite smoke. I smoked in the car and then got out to take a picture of a waterfall, and then when I got back in 5 minutes later even though the windows were down, as soon as I rolled them up I smelled that wonderful incensy Oaxaca smoke. So I rolled the windows down again to air the car out and checked to make sure that the pipe wasn’t somehow still burning, which it was not.
It was then that I realized that a fresh Bud of the tall Peshawar was drying in the vent with the heat on lol. Man, it smells just like Old Silversides smoke. Great smell.
The Peshawar plants are getting very close now, but still a couple weeks left or so. Maybe three. I think that’s 12 or 13 weeks total. Seedless, the flowering time may be different. Joe really is a special plant. Faster than the others by a week or two.
I lucked out getting it so early, and I know it was a gift from the spirit of weed, for spreading this gem around so others can enjoy it. I think some great plants are going to be found.
Lol. Stinky suit indeed😁 I didn’t even notice the guy wearing a black sweatshirt the first few times I looked at it.
Funny true story…One time, I had harvested a good-sized plant and was nearing my processing destination, crossing a small open field less than 50 feet from the road. A car came around the corner with no warning, while I was dead center in that field. Throwing the plant or diving to the ground would have drawn too much attention, so I “planted” that plant and hid behind it as I held it upright lol. The car didn’t slow down and gawk. So maybe it worked.
Oh damn it she beautiful
I really want to find a gorgeous black plant like that, I’ve seen some, but like you said…that shine she has ! Never seen that before.
I’ve had some outright black on a few plants. One that I remember is from @Santero and was a Lemon Thai x Bubba Kush. I need to start tagging my photos with info. I’ll scroll through to see if I can remember. I know there was the one from SAN but another one at this house.
I did an Afghan CBD x Black Afghan that was colorful but cant’t remember it it was the one that went real black. It was from @Cristalin with Underground Seed Collective. I need to grow more of that one. Beautiful, tasty plant with 1:2 thc/cbd (I think).
I found some of mine. Actually a good many. I’ll o=post one right now but it’s time for me to eat breakfast…and lunch, and dinner. The day got away from me… I’m starving and have 4 fresh lamb chops for dinner.
That is gorgeous what strain is that ?! I need some lol
I would love to try and get her color into a cross ?
Do you remember what she smelled and tasted like ?
Oh man I have always wanted a black plant.
I had an orange Grove I grew that turned a deep black with its leaf tips still a lime green.
She only showed her “true colors” during mid flower, and I tried keeping a cut but failed several times. Then she was gone. That was the only black plant I’ve found, and I am so pissed I lost her lol
I can’t get a decent photo lately, but the 2 Joe Jr Peshawar plants are looking really potent. Great resin forming. I’m getting impatient now…but luckily I noticed a small branch on Joe had spider mites. I thought it best to smoke the problem😁. Should hold me over. One or two more weeks
Maximum for Joe. All the seeds are nice and ripe. Probably have been. @GMan wow that’s a dark plant. Neat! I know I have the temperatures to produce those colors, so I’ll find one for sure😁
