btw, sannie’s heri is a repro from mota’s repro from woodhorses work on it :wink:
chris and his heri is top notch, mota is spectacular and sannie’s = very decent.

actually, sannie had different versions that went from really überpotent to ‘just’
strong smoke over the time … i grew two of the three versions that were sold.
the fem was reported as not being potent as the regs, that’s why i skipped them.

meth seems to be taking over rural california. In my little slice I used to never see one homeless person, not since I started living there in the mid 2000’s. Just the past 5 years or so I see them constantly, they trash the public parks and loiter around the only pharmacy in town (go figure) to the point where I haven’t not seen one visiting there for several years now.

Something changed, and I don’t know what. I heard something about a rehab clinic, about drug users skipping jail on condition of going there instead. They get bussed out of the cities and into peaceful rural communities, and whether or not the users finish their rehab or skip on it they wind up back on streets, only now its my streets instead of LA and SF. Very clever of the cities to just ship their problems out of town instead of dealing with them, wish we could do the same :joy:

Up here they drop them off in a minor city as a stop off to their final destination. Most of them just stay.

still not sick of the wedding cake hybrids and its been at least 6 months now of the quality rosin supply here being flooded with them. used to get some landrace strains in rosin form now everything is wedding cake x something. the only truly functional one ive had was fruit cake (what im 99% sure is zkittles x wedding cake, not the cherry pie lineage youll see if you google it).

every wedding cake hybrid that ive tried has been noticeably good for sleep, even the (probably) sat leaner fruit cake that was perfect wake-n-bake had those traits. wc is definitely more recognizable in effect than taste/smell etc in the crosses ive tried.

I must not have done my cut justice, it was the lowest yielding least interesting strain I ever grew :joy: To be fair it was treated rather poorly, but some sour d and gg4 cuts treated similarly came out quite nicely so I’m tempted to blame the genes on that one. Yours look stellar though :ok_hand:

garlic is another resurgent fad here. all the gmo crosses and bxs, i never liked them in flower but in live rosin (maybe just with actual terps) form the flavor and effect are top notch. hash burger really does taste like cheeseburgers and the effect is immediately calming, great for pain relief just not so great for getting things done. another long lasting cookie cultivar though.

Cookie strains are more for the idiots that are willing to pay stupid money for a strain thats been over hyped and totally commercialised. For this reason it’s why I grow it. A fool and his money are soon parted.

Although there are def tons of bland or one dimensional cookies strains I wouldn’t go as far as writing off every single cookies hybrid considering at least half of the genes are from other things too. I think really popular things get a lot of extra hate because they’re popular. Not that some of the hate isn’t deserved but I assume the majority of store bought stuff isn’t good regardless if it’s cookies related or not.

well yeah, that’s the thing. All the “good” cookies strains are the crosses that don’t smoke or hit like cookies. People like Wedding Cake because it carries some of the effects from the Triangle Kush in there… People like MAC1 for the effects from the StarFighter/Columbian in there… they like these watered down cookies crosses because they don’t know any better. I’d rather have TK than wedding cake, i’d rather have starfighter/columbian than mac1, i’d rather have chem d than gmo, i’d rather have face off og than dosidos…

Don’t waste your time with it. All of his stuff named after clone onlys is fake. his stock is reproductions of fem euro seeds from copycat companies like hso that use recognizable names to sell unknown/undisclosed genetics. Mark’s blue dream, girl scout cookies, bubba and etc. are nothing like the real thing.

Oversimplified. Bodhi is popular ( probably the most) and even after linking with berner I haven’t seen much hate directed at B. He is loved and respected. Rather have a bong with him than Tyson, and I love Tyson. Cookies doesn’t want you or me to grow at home. That’s disgusting and deserves all the hate. Free the plant and your ass will follow.

Capitalism is the sickness berner is but a symptom.
