You are right about the wilting though too. I know nothing about mites and if they can make plants wilt. Let alone a 7 foot tall and wide plant. I’m gonna have to cut some leaves off tomorrow and do some real close ups. I did notice these black rings on the leaves with holes in the middle too.

Yeah I got some small speckling on the leaves. Not as much as I would think

They probably would be, but some plants are more attractive to bugs than others. I really think they more suck the life out of the plant than make it wilt. The leaves will yellow though

My neighbor lost one of three in a tent to spider mites and it just started wilting like that. Fast too… the other two plants where a different strain.

Yeah that’s what it was. Spider mites, especially the clover mite. I gave it a bath with dawn soap. Burned some leaves but it seems to be working!

Bro, I just ordered 8 lbs of lye. I’ll ship you enough to make a batch of jwa. It’s the same as safers soap, and won’t burn your girls like dawn will. I think that’s the main thing that killed 2 of mine this year.

This morning a guy and his buddy came out to pick up a tank. I was on the other end of the field watching this. This guy walked about 200 feet out of his way all the way up to my plants. He looked and walked away. By the time I got close enough to say hey you shouldn’t be walking through people’s gardens he was gone.
Talk about getting nervous…

I’m not a soap maker by any means but it was always my understanding that a hard bar soap is made with sodium hydroxide and liquid soaps are made with potassium .Hydroxide
