One of the things that I notice with my garden is that the organic materials spread on top like compost, castings, leaves, etc. get broken down and washed through the mulch nicely. If the soil is too compact to begin with, everything added on top can get splashed and/or blown away. I use a pitchfork to lightly loosen up any areas that have compacted without turning it over. You might be surprised at how much the soil digests over time. Think about using something to help establish the microbes and mycorrhizae like Great White or Kangaroots. The “active ingredient” for cannabis mycorrhizae is Rhizophagus irregularis, formerly known as Glomus intraradices if you’re label reading. Arbico makes a good product called Root Builder that is a cheaper option as well. Once the microbiology is established, you’re organic nutrients are even more effective and you’ll find that you really have to keep top dressing and mulching to keep up.

Thanks @Tinytuttle. What do think is going on with plant in the last 2 pics? Is that from bugs?

Looks like it could be bugs may have just succumbed to them

On the upside bro, it looks like you will still have plenty to smoke.

Lol. That’s a great way of looking at it

Yeah I agree @Tinytuttle. That plant just may die from whatever bugs that are eating on it or disease it may have

Do you have gophers ? Looks like something is attacking the roots .

Hey @gramps. I don’t have gophers. I just looked at that plant again and I think it’s gonna die. I took a couple pics but have to go to town for better service. It’s just drooping all over. That’s how it works. It starts to droop and pale out. If it was bugs I would think my other plants would have them. Root disease, bugs? I have no idea

The whole plant looks like this. I’m thinking root infection or something like that. I’m gonna give it big bottle of h202 and let the water trickle on it over night. Can’t hurt it any worse then what it is. Some sites recommended to grow this fruity kush strain in indirect sunlight. I don’t necessarily believe in that and I doubt that’s what it is

Naw bro, it was looking awesome. We had one that did that at the greenhouse. We think it was a gopher or mole or some digging bastard (not a badger). At the very least some kind of a root issue. We had whole branches dying off and on. They would just die and dry out.

@gramps didn’t you move to using bags because of gophers or something? Is that what the plants looked like when you had that problem?

I have another theory. I spotted a ton of red and green spider mites. The plant is infested with them. I never really bothered to look cuz the other plants look fine and I really never had a problem like this before. I was reading about spraying it with a alcohol solution

Can spider mites do that to a plant at that level?

Do the leaves look like this? It’s hard to tell from far out

Once you get a bunch of them on your plant, it can go downhill pretty fast. Don’t think mine wilted like that though.
