It is becoming trickier to glean the truth from the swirling maelstrom of media reports.

We will just have to see how this plays out over time.

Mostly it’s the people who make me sick, I see Vietnamese sending back 1,000,000 masks for “charity”, Chinese kids on the playground in the US going home and wanting to be tested because children on the playground are chasing them and making fun, people making fun of how Chinese eat.

Jokes are all in fun, but if you’re serious and racist it’s another matter.

There’s docs in Netflix, lots of info online. Zerohedge just got a permanent suspension. I suppose the same people read natural news. Just because someone has an education doesn’t make them right. I was talking the flu, not pandemic. I should remove the “bird” although who knows where it came from. Yes about 5% - 20% are sick every year in developed countries with vaccines, higher in non-developed countries.

If true, this is really crappy news.

From article:
A virus-laden aerosol plume emanating from a SARS patient with diarrhea was implicated in possibly hundreds of cases at Hong Kong’s Amoy Gardens housing complex in 2003.

Haha :joy: now the hazmat suits make complete sense.

This is not the same as the seasonal flu and likely explains the extraordinary response:

  • Flu has a CFR (mortality) of .1%. The nCov flu is 2-3%. That is dramatically different.

  • Flu has an R0 of 1.28. nCov has an estimated R0 of 2.5-3.5.

  • With an R0 of 1, an individual passes the virus to one person and they pass to one person and so on - After 10 cycles 10 People have been infected. With Flu at 1.28 it leads to 15 people infected over 10 cycles

  • With an R0 of 2 - After 10 cycles That infection has spread to 2048 people.

  • After 20 cycles an R0 of 1.28 infects 178 people. An R0 of 2 infects 2,097,000 people

  • Flu has a serious complication rate (hospitalization) of <1%. The nCov rate of complication is currently stated at 20+%

Allowing this virus to burn out naturally seems to be a bad idea. As such, consider:

A country quarantines 65 million people
Drops powder antiseptic onto the plebeians
Barricades them in their homes
Blocks off roads with dirt and boulders
And, starts the round the clock construction of 2 hospitals, simultaneously

Yes, that’s a normal response. Nothing to see here, let’s call it racist?

I fear this will get a whole lot worse before we see the light.
There is nothing to do but wait at this point or it will possibly create mass panic in the streets, The killings over fear will be far worse than the disease will be, maybe? They have no idea until the spread plays out what they are truely dealing with and protocol calls for a news lock down to avoid mass histeria by civilians .

@Shadey Brother Shadey what say ye?
I know you are a science guy .

Considering the annual influenza virus kills on average over 30000 americans every season it seems that there is a major over reaction happening with this corona virus. Its mortality rate at the moment is drastically lower then that of sars and mers.

If you are worried don’t bother with the vaccine, more likely to spread it further if its a live vaccine, and the shit they put in it to reduce your immune system, fucks you up worse over time, with all the mercury they put in the adjuvant.

Keep a half onion on yer bedside table and gargle and swab your nose out, twice a day with salt water and you will have no problems, airborne viruses don’t last long if they cant get into your lungs and throat, that’s why we have tonsils and warm wet nostrils with hair inside to trap them, they act like an onion collecting and killing bacteria before it gets where it needs to be to start replicating.

It would not surprise me if it was started by big Pharma or Monsanto, to make a lot of sales, or testing out biological warfare stuff, but I am a cynical bastard at the best of times
