Hate to be the one to say it, but should not all Countries of the World restrict all unnecessary travel between boarders until we know what we are dealing with. The Worlds economy will come back if it;s just a false alarm or a cure (vaccine is found) is discovered.
I mean come on it is time to say this shit is real.

Iā€™m trying to find a sector thatā€™s not going to be affected, outside of farming, that is.
I hope folks here realize that a lot of led chips are made in China.
As of today, you can buy a 4 pack of 2700k 15 watt screw-in bulbs for $5 US.
Those of us who plan on building the DIY types that @Mr.Sparkle, @ReikoX , many others build, should expect to see price increases and limited availability.

Priorities, after all.

This is something that Iā€™ve been considering lately; what happens if this hits very hard locally?
Assuming electricity is available, a period of in-house, in-place quarantine would lead to a shortage of fresh vegetables and fruit.
These leds we have can also be used to grow micro greens very quickly. Iā€™ve grown lettuce, radishes, onions and other greens to edibility indoors.
Maybe not enough to provide for a family but a refreshing break from a steady diet of rice and beans.

People once thought it was unsanitary to use indoor toilets. They couldnā€™t imagine crapping inside their house. It took a generation to catch on. It was once thought a human wouldnā€™t be able to breathe properly in an automobile going over 30 mph. Canā€™t fight it. That being said, the rate of technological and social change keeps increasing. I honestly kind of feel bad for the older generation, Iā€™m surprised they get along as well as they do.

Which means absolutely nothing at all, considering the source.
Still, pandemic numbers often fluctuate. If this is indeed true, govts. around the world are taking notes on just how barbarous they have to be to get a handle on this.

Yes, the numbers have been goal seekā€™d since day one. Lots of experts in the field are saying the same and not trusting any of the numbers.

The cruise ship ā€œexperimentā€ is probably a more trust worthy set of numbers and that was just out of control. The numbers ex-china are trending up currently.
