Sending all the positive vibes I can to you and your family brother. My son and his wife are down with it as well. Oddly he tested positive and she tested negative yet they are both home with the exact same symptoms. Best of luck to for a speedy recovery.

I qualified for the early 2 drug infusion by Regeneron due to having COPD. Hopefully that will keep me out of the hospital and ICU. It’s the same thing they gave Trump and Abbott. Thanks…

Covid - 19 is running wild again in Florida. Some schools are closed and hospitals are full. I’m vaccine up and wear a mask.

Just keep a pulse oximeter at home, if you start coughing up green/yellow sputum or get short of breath get an x-ray to rule out pneumonia. Take some Guaifenesin (Mucinex) for the next 7-10 days or so, will help decrease chances of pneumonia throughout the infection process. Stay safe out there. Feel free to PM me

Thank you brother @Moka. I’m supposed to be taking Mucinex anyway so I’ll get back on it. I also have an inhaler ANORO that I rarely need. Only symptoms so far are cough, runny nose, hoarseness and dizziness. Thanks again. I’ll keep you updated by pm.

Blessings…

Yeah what we are seeing in the hospital is a lag behind for close contacts. So if she tested positive, I’d wait a day or two and get retested. Odds are you would then test positive.

Hope you are both feeling better now bud.

At this point there is no sense in going out and possibly spreading it. I bring food and leave it at the door. If they worsen they will go to hospital otherwise they will test when feeling better.

Solid point. I always tell people to get a pulse oximeter so they can measure their blood oxygen concentration at home. It’s a good predictor for pneumonia if the sat drops into the low 90’s and if it goes into the 80’s that’s a definitive “you need to go to the hospital for supplemental oxygen”

Well, I hope I didn’t screw up. Went to have lunch with my brother and nephew today. Come to find out, my brothers son in law has covid. That whole family hangs out together like all day every day. He is always with his grandkids. They are all anti-vaxxers. Hmmm!
Then his son, my nephew came in from San Diego where he is an ICU manager. I figured him to have gotten a vaccine for covid. Nope, not yet. And he works around the kung-flu every day FNCK!!!

Hope you’re okay. From how its going you can get it from the vaccinated faster than the unvaccinated . It doesn’t make sense to me .

Vaccines shorten the progression of the disease but dont make you less contagious, also the delta is said to be more transmissable. Being vaccinated is nomaking ayone more contagious. Theyre contagious bufor less time
