Could have got it and the effects were not enough to notice. Happened to a lot of people. It depends on the viral load you got and as you said how your immune system is running. Heck, you may have had it and gave it to your parents in the first place. But if not, you can still get it and pass it on. The Delta variant is a greater risk than the earlier ones.

But I had not seen my parents in month, during the covid lock down I was at home starting to grow again an home gym. When my dad called an said come take care of them they woukd rather die at home so I went there an spent 3 weeks

Just going by what you said, more information always helps.
On judging people, when there is a serious communicable disease out ravaging peopleās lives and the economy the ones trying to fight the virus are just as justified in judging others as if your country was at war with another and the individual is receptive to helping the enemy.

Is not your own but the rest of people you can contagiate without even noticing it, no one is safe if the virus keeps circulating, please do vaccinate yourself.

My sister was bragging she was immune to it. She works in the school and has been in close prolonged contact. She was doing my taxes. Yes, she was doing taxes for H&R. The next day she came down with it. Her family had it the day she was bragging to me.
Just glad I was vaccinated as we were handling the same papers, pens and setting side by side for a couple hours.

Probably, but as stated above, this thread is to keep up with the members who are recovering or currently afflicted with covidā¦ be a support barrier of sortsā¦
It isnāt a vax/anti vax, mask/antimask, real/hoax kinda thread though we do welcome those to talk about experiences with possible vax side effects they may or may not have had, as I had covid and got the Pfizer and never had any adverse effects from either jab.
Keeping that in mind, letās keep this to the topic of making sure our members that are suffering from this are doing ok and sending good vibes their way.
I love this thread and I thank the OP for starting it. Sure we go slightly to the side but we stay civil and steer back to the topic.

My biggest concern is what it is doing to our health care system. All the procedure that have been canceled because the hospitals and support systems are geared up fighting covid. I retired fro a large hospital a few months before covid hit. We flew people out of province because there was no more room at the inn to take them. The more we can do to dampen the virus down the sooner normal life can resume. I take a Flu shot every year, looks like I may need a covid shot again in the future. Brave New World for us.

Holy smokes. I just got my second shot yesterday and I feel like a smoldering pile of shit today. Just lethargic as can be. I slept in til about 4 in the afternoon and have been lounging around all night.

I felt crappy the next day with both shots, same with my 92 year old mother. But she is from a tougher generation than most of us.

Aināt that the truth. My step grandfather is gonna be 103 soon. He was talking reckless about how only pussies felt bad from the shot.
