Got the flu shot two weeks ago, went well also. Covid related, talked to my sister yesterday, she was in Emergency, not covid related. They would have admitted her but there was no bed to be had. They phoned the other hospitals in the area and nothing available. In the end they pumped her full of drugs and she has to go back two times a day for the same routine.

Iām back to normal except for having no taste,Iām glad I got my vaccinations could of been lot worse,trying to get a booster shot at the minute make sure I donāt get it again lol

Good luck man. I was vaccinated but I donāt judge those whom didnātā¦ I just really hope you donāt catch covid. My friendās doctor I just found out died from covid. He thought his body would build up antibodies so he didnāt wear a mask. He caught covid and died.

I just got my Moderna booster shot 5hrs. agoā¦I will let you guys know if I have any side effects in a couple daysā¦stay safe and stay well folks.

Got it like my whole family here even though we did the whole song and dance you still need to buy food and go out.
Luckily I beat it easily but now it seems I am getting fired not wanting to be forced to take something I donāt need.

24 hrs. after my booster shot I had a slight body ache and the next day I was perfectly fineā¦Iād rather have a slight body ache then the real deal CV-19ā¦I also got my Flu shot 3-4 weeks ago so now I just have to get my Shingles shotā¦

I got my booster last week and man, did it make my arm hurt, lolā¦ that sucker hurt for 4 days I bet, and the first night it woke me up a few times. I might have been a little fatigued the next day but nothing really.

I got mine Monday and got the flu shot at the same time in the same arm. He asked if I want both arms to hurt a little or one arm hurt a lot 
I can tell you the arm is hurting pretty good today.

@Syn, your concern is appreciated, but it might send the wrong message by posting it in the āCovid-19 check inā thread. Youāre quoting a post of his from 20 months ago.
He took time to deal with personal things that were not related to his health. Itās possible that his priorities have been realigned, but Iām sure weāll hear from him soon - at least I hope so.
For the record, I did email him earlier today. If/when I hear back, Iāll post an update in his September Giveaway thread.

I got two Pfizer vacs and a Moderna booster but I understand I can still get a breakthrough infection and pass it on. I have two grandchildren under 5 and I canāt imagine how Iād feel if I infected them. I had no side effects other than sore needle arm for a day or two, and not that sore. I wonder why people are afraid of these mRNA vaccines? Is it something they heard on the internet or Fox News? Did they get the polio or smallpox vaccines? Iād like to see the data or research that says these vaccines are dangerous. What little Iāve found on-line was not science based, just mumbled misinformation. Granted, if youāre young and healthy, your chances of recovery are good but not always. There have been many who died who were young and seemed healthy. But probably the biggest problem is that without very high vaccination rates the virus will continue to spread and have many opportunities to evolve beyond our capabilities to respond.
Imagine if half the population of the earth died from a new variant. Who would benefit from that? I guess most of life on earth would benefit if there were only 3-4 billion Homo sapiens but especially the wealthy. They could then build even bigger, ludicrous mansions to prove their virility and then continue their March to oblivion. They donāt need 7, 8 or 9 billion worker slaves. As Frank Zappa said a long time ago in reference to TV (the dominant media at that time), āYou will obey me while I lead you and eat the garbage that I feed you until the day that we donāt need you. Donāt go for helpā¦no one will heed you, Your mind is totally controlled. It has been stuffed into my mold. And you will do as you are told, until the rights to you are sold.ā Oh no, here comes the thought police. Conspiracy is the name of the game today but out of control capitalism is a conspiracy in plain view. Iāve watched wages go down or stay down for 50 years. Iāve watched unions disappear. Iāve seen the American minds being re-educated to believe that collective bargaining is an evil created by communists. Most people think their thoughts are their own but I donāt think so. Iām hoping cannabis consciousness can play a role in turning these things around. Maybe Iām dreaming but we like to be hopeful here so what the hell.

You realize that several variants of the common cold are caused by various coronaviruses, right? Theyāve been spreading and mutating for as long as humans have been alive and longer, and will continue on long after weāre gone. No matter how many times you get vaccinated, or how many people you malign for refusing to get vaccinated, this is not smallpox and this is not 1950. Humanity is incapable of working together to the degree required to eliminate a disease, and this is barely worthy of being called a disease by smallpox standards.
As for the wealthy coming up with a conspiracy to eliminate half of humanity to increase their wealthā¦ thatās incredibly ridiculous. The wealthy are wealthy because theyāve invested and continue to invest in a way that capitalizes on peopleās needs, not just because they hoard their wealth. If there arenāt people whose needs can be met for a profit, then a) their wealth is damaged, not enhanced; and b) wealth is a concept that only has meaning to people. Again, eliminating all the people eliminates the meaning of that wealth. Youāre letting your progressive politics control your mind, even as you tell other people not to let conservative politics control them and to get vaccinated. 
Btw, before Iām accused of being a shill for one party or the other, Iām vaccinated and think both parties are just a show for the common folk to watch so we think we have some control. We donātā¦ really, no one does, unless you believe in God. Pretty sure weāre getting way past whatās acceptable on the forum though. I also think people shouldnāt be forced to get vaccinated, any more than people are forced to get vaccinated for the fluā¦ which is also, btw, never going away no matter how many people are vaccinated.

I got my third shot, the booster, a couple of weeks ago. No issues other than my arm was much more sore this time. Other than that no issues at all.
