I had it about 3 weeks ago. Lasted a little over a week.
Shitty for 2-3 days then a long taper. Feel fine now, still can’t quite smell right.
Had a horrible sinus issue/burning chest feeling. General run down feeling. Sore muscles, major lack of energy, could do things but got winded quickly. Even managed to shovel some snow…but owee that was a mistake haha.
Double vaccinated, had an appointment for the booster but ended up with COVID instead lol. Mildy ironic.
My dad got it around the same time (unvaccinated) and he got sick as shit for like 2 weeks and still doesn’t feel right. He is also overweight with preexisting conditions and was in hospital for a whole day but improved enough to leave. Coulda just as easily gone south though.
It can happen to you, careful y’all. Don’t play games with your life over a stupid virus.
No improvement. I think I’m actually worse off, tbh.
Currently going through a battery of tests to exclude a less vague diagnosis than “long covid”. Pulmonary function tests, stress echo cardiogram, high resolution CT scans, bloodwork, etc.
I just lost my step brother to Covid. He and his wife both got sick, and he ended up having to go the hospital. Eventually, he needed to be intubated, and died shortly after.
I’m not sure about their vaccination choices and I haven’t seen him in years. He was overweight, I heard, but I had seen that change in him earlier. So sad that he had to leave so early.
Really sad , sorry for your loss, the point is not only being vaccinated but also in good health and condition , not giving any opportunity to that nasty virus …
My wife still has plenty of patients with Covid ,have to say that that last booster shot I got kicked my ass Even had a pimple on my eyelid lol sore legs and arms fever Moderna, the other 2 were phizer
Even though I had a pretty bad case (probably should have been in the hospital, tbh), I am very fortunate to not have had anyone close to me die of this shit.
Good to see you back Howard. Sorry to hear about what you’ve gone through. I hope your on the mend. Got a few friends that got hit recently but are managing at home.
I got three shots now… all Pfizer and then a 4th one. The actual bug… I got it here at home
Tired. Sleepy , headache and diarrhea and that was it… my nose shutdown on me… but now I’m fine again.
.
I have had worse colds or influenza
Hope everyone is ok.
Glad to see you back @Howard.Crane. Sorry to hear that progress has been slow with your recovery. Hopefully the diagnostics can give you some more specific treatment options.
Hope to see you around on the forum, even if you’re not growing or smoking right now you’ve always got us potheads to talk to.
