Nah, that is absolutely NOT trueā¦it CANāT be. The reason is cataclysmic and I think that should be motivation enough! Hey, it may be 110Ā° F for 2/3rds of the summer in the VERY near future and then we can all reflect again about the importance of climate change reform!

Guess what itās already that hot here for that long. Hate to break it to you but climate change will never stop, itās a natural thing. The fact there have been 5 ice ages followed by periods of warning proves this.

There is no such thing. How can we drive something that is natural. Considering that one volcanic eruption puts more greenhouse gases in the atmosphere than humans have since the industrial revolution. That and the discovery of massive methane releases from the sea floor and what we have done is miniscule in comparison. You could wipe humans from the planet and guess what it will still warm up like it had for millinea

I grew up in NY and drove to college in Fla. In North or South Carolina in 1965
(canāt remember which) a pk of butts was like 20 cents, if you bought by the carton. You could also buy fireworks from āgrannyā sitting outside of her hut! Those were some funny times.
Happily I quit that sh** 40 yrs ago and never went back.

Man, I need to quit the cigarettes as well! Ive got the beginnings of some lung issues from all the smoking Ive done through my life and Iām NOT giving up smoking weed, unless I start vaping or something, so the smokes gotta GO, bro! Heheā¦thanks for bringing this thread back around with some good-natured reminiscing!

It will be the best thing that you ever did, both for your family and for yourself! After I retired and was able to consume Cannabis again (Nevada Gaming industry as a whole did drug testing, and I was a State licensee), I began smoking weed once againā¦NEVER ever had an urge to even pick up a Cigarette. I donāt care for the vaped taste and like combustion!
I used the patch and was done for good in 30 days! That astonished me since I was up over 2 + pks a day. 
I would do whatever it takes to quitā¦You and your loved ones will be free of that dreaded stuff!

When I quit, Chantix didnāt exist. There were 3 (I think) brands back then and we needed a doctorās script to get them. I tried Nicorette gum which did absolutely nothing to help me. The main danger from the patches was that people would peel one off and then have a cigarette. That could spell nicotine overdose since the transdermal nicotine was still in the bloodstream.

Iāve used the patches before but I smoked with one on and got sick and havenāt used one since! Hehe! I guess you gotta follow the instructions if ya want it to work!

From what I read, a Nicotine OD can result in death. People have no idea just how strong Nicotine really is.

Wish you the best of luck quitting, one tried and tried but canāt. My job is extremely stressful so it makes it rough. Iāve either got lives at my finger tips or millions of other peopleās money.
