Awesome! So glad to hear this brother, truly am. And I really appreciate that. And for you, very much the same .
Thanks @shag ! Youāre a major player in me getting to this point, once I figured out what you were talking about. A fair bit of reading involved. @TopShelfTrees1 is my best cheerleader. Hands down!
Well If you grew cocoa, RDWC or hydro Iād have you 100% only soil Iāve ever used was pro mix lol and usually for outdoor ! Always got you brother! Itās funny how tight those of us from the lab remain huh. Man I havenāt popped in in months now come to think
Not gonna lie if I could afford it Iād fill my 4x8 with Living Soil and give her hell and once figured out Iād add it everywhere. Just makes sense to me, you guys are like a mix of both. Itās pretty cool
I need to update there to. Look often still.
Been meaning to post this. Iām a compost tea brewer. I use Microbe Man Tim Wilsonās formula. This last time I switched to Earth Juice hi brix molasses. Seemed to go off sooner. When I checked the day after watering, every pot had a layer of spooge growing on it. The stuff in my brewer kept reproducing until it was a sludge. Been a bit warm and humid here. Never seen anything like it. I broke it up, but was back in a day but not as heavy.
Any thoughts @shag? Anyone else? Good? Bad? Curious for sure.
Definitely not wizards beard! Yuck no idea
You could save a buck and use table sugar instead.
Actually something like sugar in the raw is better.
I do not recomend trehalose for this as the microbe use it for food and they donāt care how much you pay for it.
Cheap as you can and as raw as you can is my suggestion.
Do you use a vortex brewer?
Yellow stuff may be dog vomit.
Donāt have a dog?
Thatās okay, this may be a fungus called slime moldā¦AKA dog vomit.
It does not really look like it but maybe it is just starting out.
I would be careful breathing the dust, us spring chickens may have a lower tolerance for the stuff.
What to do?
It could be beneficial.
It is a long shot but maybe @JoeCrowe can identify it.
He is pretty spot on with microbes and such.
Leucocoprinus birnbaumii or the plant pot dapperling.
Not harmful to living plants. Not for human consumption. Toxic. Never seen anything like it. I can make tea without it. @shag I brew in a clean trash can. Just for water and tea. Not a cleaned trash can with lots of yuck. I run a large flat stone. I also run a pump in it, keep it moving. Usually about 24 hours. I used to have a microscope. Got into looking at the critters. Interesting. I got good at gauging when it was done. Then broke my microscope. I did it long enough not to worry too much.
Ive found when itās done, I use it up then. It goes off and then it just stinks. My yard loves it! I used it a lot when I ran a bunch outside.
You think it could have been introduced in one of the brew ingredients like EWC or Compost? I had open bags that had been around. Stored in a big tote that gets steamy.
Usually itās in the soil. Iāve had those mushrooms grow before and they arenāt dangerous.
Big thank you for the ID @JoeCrowe you are the man!
I have had those little yellow mushrooms grow before myself.
Thank you again!
Fall back. Regroup. Start again. New soil, new solos, RO. Rat and mouse traps purchased. Got lots I want to run, just need to decide what. Iām tempted to start one thatās a Sativa leaning thatās longer flowering than Iām used to. Weāll see. Plenty of other awesome choices.
@jaws Dawgs of War and Bubblegum Chem. @SHSC-1 here we go. Supercollider Kush in there too. @Kind024 Strawberry Diesel x Sour Cookies. Pretty sure this is from TJ. Is this what you were calling Sweet and Sour Cookies? Regardless, thatās up too. That SD was good by itself. Strawberry Goo too.
Nice choices brother!
One more. Been a couple batches since I ran any @Great_lakes_Genetics freebies. Those seeds have been good to me. I splashed some Runaway Bride. I ran these when they were still labeled testers, and no #4,5 6 etc. I ran them outside. All I really remember is they turned such a dark purple, they looked black. And my wife really liked them. I remember those.
I was shooting from the hip, not knowing much. Getting lucky quite a but. Now I know a little more, thanks boys and girls. Going inside with these.
TW Meds.50 days. Buds are bulkier than the other TW. Enough amber to cut. I could use the space. I want to open up the big Romulan cross. No hard stuff. Stake and re-stake in a few days. Buds are stacking nice, I donāt want to confuse her too much.
35 days on this one.
TW is really looking taaaastyā¦great job on her. I bet there is some strong smells coming from her. That book is sweet for sure love the front cover
