Crownpoodle's 4x4

I had my grandson Weston Stone helping with some foliar feeding. He’s 5 and been helping me with plants since he was 2. Look out OG. Master grower in training. Someplace I have photos where he’s about 18 months with his head stuck in a big outdoor plant in a 30. He’s already a veteran watering. “Not all one spot Ppa.”

Nice!
Did that kid get into a fight with a lawnmower?
He is huge now…WTF?

You’re not kidding! He’s a big boy, but the sweetest 5 year old. Biggest kid in this class. He’s got a 4 month old brother, Ranger he just adores.

Weston is my spirit animal. I am truely blessed with 6 healthy grand-trolls.

Just so ya know this is what we say here in michigan when you get a lot of hair cut off.
That kid used to look like thor… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You are, no grand-troll for this guy, none yet anyway…LOL

Wow, he actually likes his little brother. :hugs:

Kid’s got Norweigan waterfront ancestry. He’s strong a a damn Viking too. He walked up all casual at a softball game with the new cut. My wife and I were wondering who’s cute kid when his sister ran up! We bout shit right there!
His sister with bright orange hair shaved her head. The oldest cut looked like some kind of exotic birds comb. Their mom knows what battles to pick.

An actual grow update. Day 10. Saw what “might” be thrip damage but not critters on close inspection. Still sprayed Monterey Insect Spray (Spinosid is bad for bees, so indoor only) and will again in a week. If I see any new damage before then I might spray Green Cure I think it is. Not loosing one bong hit to those fuckers. Lots of stretch going on, but I think I have room. None of these got topped. Color is off in the photos. Plants look different on every device I use.
Got some funky shit on some older ASD leaves. Not chasing this, just moving on.1223221059

I guess it could be old damage, probably something else, to guess from here that is…LOL
They look pretty darn good overall!
Nice work keep it up. :slightly_smiling_face:

Ya overall she looks real healthy from my seat.
I see the odd strange “damage” spots sometimes on fast growing plants. I figure the scars , for lack of a better word, stretch and enlarge a bit as the leaf gets bigger.

This leaf is something different. There’s the classic thrip damage on some too, but minor. Need to keep it like that. Treating like I have thrips. Watered using Roots Organics Oregonism XL. Some kind of mycorizial freeze dried innocolant. I think it’s the same as the freeze dried Sea Monkeys that they sold in comic books when I was a kid.

17 days. Looking decent overall. Some deficiencies that were addressed on the Blackened Oranges. Removed some lower stuff and opened them up some for better circulation. Not big on stripping tons of leaves.

From the looks of this last image, I would guess you had some type of deficiency at the start and you were able to correct things, they look pretty dam good now.
I know you said that but the leaf shows it.
That one in the back corner still says she loves you the most. :kissing_heart:
Nice work buddy!

How far we have come young/old grasshopper.

I had a member ask a favor. Pass along a package. Sure thing. I’ve done it before. I was thinking of it as a karma bank deposit. Couple $, 10 minute walk to the post office. No big deal for me. Well…these fine men had other ideas. I was gifted some strains that really made me happy. A couple strains I had eyeballed more than once. But what REALLY made me happy? It’s men I have never met in person. Never spoken on the phone with. They do not know anyone who personally knows me to vouch for me. Yet they trust me. My wife is the one who noticed. “Someone thinks well of you.”;
That trust means way more to me than some beans. Any beans. Even magic beans, which all my beans are.
Wow. Thank you. I am honored.

That one in the corner is the Amherst SD, which I found 3 more fem seeds of. I need to get them all out again for a last light clean-up. Not a big defol really, just damaged leaves. Big fans blocking. Some lowers. Weather has been too hostile.

2x4 or 3x3 for a veg tent, and why. I have a 2x2 that’s too limiting. Fine for a bunch of solos, but I want to be able to veg up to 4 or 5 weeks with some stuff. I could veg a one or two, but that doesn’t get it.

36 days. Plants are a little ratty but the buds are filling in, getting some density. Just a mess of sticky smells. Some citrus for sure. Too windy to get plants out for decent pics. Not sure which plants are which in these shots.

I have not been disappointed with the quality of anything I’ve grown for a while now. I think my yield might go up if I could maintain better plant health all along.
The weed tastes good, smells good, and works real good. Unless you are a seasoned smoker, I do not grow daytime weed. Stronger the better. Bet the upcoming Old Timers Stash is strong.
New veg tent delivery tomorrow. Time to shift gears.

Took the kids out of the veg tent for a look. Sherbikerbubble fems, check. Not showing sex on any of the others. Crap. I sure hope I don’t have too many males.
With the new veg tent here I started some Jaw’s Blackberry Soda F2s a couple days ago. Thinking I should start something else.

49 days. Might be done sooner than I thought. Mostly opaque, starting to turn on some. The Blackened Oranges are fading quick. I can’t smell much, but my wife said it smells real strong from 2’ away. I think some in about a week.
