Yeah that’s cool! So I just got back from the event and found out tomorrow is the big day of them running th course today was trials and check ins and I guess like a tech inspection making sure the dogs where healthy enough to compete. Still pretty cool. Looking forward to tomorrow though when they start really running the course!

Do you have a picture of Willie? Beagles I have always liked, they really are neat pups.

Can’t access my pictures right now? Bad timing bugging my wife about old ones. I’ll look when I can. He’s on the left.

Yes! That’s the place.

The gem of fast food in Chatsworth, in my opinion. I crave that place regularly. Their Hot Pastrami was my favorite of all time and the fires are no joke too. Lunch bag FULL of fries. 12.70 now though… yikes! I’d still pay it there hahaha

Anyway, sorry to highjack your conversation @crownpoodle your puppers was an adorable puppy. I wish you a great day, my friend.

Everyone for that matter, have an awesome day/week

Read the fine print. This was back in 17. What do you recon it is now!?

Unbelievably, swap the 7 and 2 for today’s price. I googled their menu and it was $17.20 for the sandwich now :frowning:

Holly highway robbery Batman!!!
@TrichomesToStun , there is no way in billy hell I would pay that for a sandwich!
:astonished: :exploding_head:

It really is. And it might be a strange coincidence that the 7-2 swapped but you can’t help but feel like that’s some sorta cruel joke.

For prices like that, you can get two great meals at one of the original In-In-Outs on Balboa… or Tommies next to the Budweiser plant. I mean if you wanted the old school style “fast” foods.

Alas, I may never visit my home town again. Just too far away, not to mention expensive… $20 for a sandwich… sheesh

Banner weekend for the local kite festival! Perfect winds for kites big and small.

Well that’s pretty cool!! Are there any old fashioned kite makers that have like booths out there?

@Hotrods_and_hounds I’m not sure. Local knowledge gets me the best parking and views without having to engage. It wasn’t promoted much from COVID, I think? There used to be a hobby shop 20 minutes away had kite building supplies. Made one with both daughters.
@shag my wife was with me when I got my kite. Pre-cellies, outside a kite store up the coast. Owner’s having a beer flying his kite. Phone rings. He hands off the kite, I had a beer back then. He came out and I went in and bought my kite.
There’s elephant seals right up the coast to swim with.

@JAWS here’s that Cherry Hi-C that had the one nanner. I pulled her out into the yard and in the shed at night where it’s much cooler. Those low temps really bring out the colors.
