Looking good
The slow stages are always a little disappointing, but worth every second
Hereâs a pic of both of them trimmed now. Itâs not perfect, but I spent well over an hour doing it. I donât think it can really get that much better than it is right now.
Looking good Iâd of stripped all the large fans top to bottom, making it look like bud on a stick!
Sorry never thought they were autos
Depends on if itâs a auto or not. If itâs a auto donât do this. Buds donât photosynthesize efficiently. The fan leaves are what feed the buds. Just tuck them away to let more airflow in if auto. If itâs a photo anything you like goes, but just remember that the leaves are what drive photosynthesis not sugar leaves or the buds. If you trim them all at this stage youâre likely to waste your time watching nothing happen until harvest.
It looks pretty when bare, but I really wouldnât recommend this if itâs still growing. That suggestion is likely to kill your plant too soon before they even work on the final budding stage.
Its not an auto. Its just feminized photo period. I do harves a question for all though. Is this PM on the leaves or just a residue from foliar spraying a few weeks back?
If it is PM, what do I do. I donât really want to spray anymore hydrogen peroxide. The substance seems like residue as I can rub and flake it off. Thanks for any answers.
They arenât autos. I mistakenly thought they were, but are just from feminized photo period seedsâŠ
Iâd strip any leaf that wasnât totally green then basic stick on a bud leave suger leaf and healthy fans turf the rest
Theyâll still continue to grow and flower without close to no leaves? I thought they needed leaves for photosynthesis? But if the consensus is to strip them then I will. I just didnât know you could do that is all.
What stage are you at for flower time they look close ? I stripe my plants almost bare 3rd week of flower then again around week 6 if they are bushy ! Iâve had bad mistakes and had almost all fans fall off or die late in flower with successful buds at the finish !
Be selective any yellow or deformed crispy blotchy leaf get rid of it !
I second that. If youâre on the ball at least remove all sick leaves.
Others can provide more details on what I said. @ReikoX was one in particular whoâs tried to drill it in my head, but Iâm spacing on the specifics
Ok process underway⊠I started but have to go pick up my girl. Man is that a delicious smelling plant. Itâs like fruity diesel. I love it and had to use a cotton ball with acetone again.
You got this
Sheâll reward you with all the energy left going to the buds. Not 100% of the time, but near enough that itâs a superstition without much reason behind it before we understood why it happened.
Looks good to me.
Minimum grumble grumble
Looking good now we can see what gems sheâs been hiding ! That bottom leaf can go and any lower sites that are just starting to bud ,due to leaf blockage as theyâre useless and take from the plant, watch for bud rot those colas are pretty tight to each other !
Iâd only remove the ones that are 50% or more effected. The leaves will still work as they normally would but obviously not as efficiently. I know the burning on the tips look unsightly but they still serve their purpose and will still take the light and feed your plants.
So noone answered my first question of whether it is PM on the plants or just residue from foliar spraying a few weeks back. Here are the photos again. Here are the photos again.
It looks like residuals from foliarâŠ
Is it spreading?
Pm would take the whole leaf⊠that looks like what the pores in the leaves didnât take and dried in the veins
No I donât believe so, but to be safe I removed the leaves that looked like that⊠so to my other BB, I didnât do what I did to the first one. I just removed half dead leaves, and bottom tiny buds along with the leaves with white stuff on them. I am pretty much done. Gonna give it a second look tomorrow⊠hereâs a look at both of them.
Looks good from here⊠be careful with widescale defoliation in mid to late flower, undue stress causes nasty thingsâŠbut they look like theyâll finish up nice
You arenât foliar feeding them now are you?
