You guys talking about those palmetto bugs? The black cockroaches. They love some dead leaves. Caterpillar he’ll fall down. I had one a few years ago. You would think they’d get high.

Me too, and i was thinking that as well, but they like fresh shoots the best normally. I think @Northern_Loki is correct. I’d look for an extremely well camouflaged caterpillar. Look for an out of place stick of leaf. That’s your culprit. Those
bastards eat up to the main central leaf vein and stop, like in your photo. The small leaf veins are eaten in your case, So I think you’re looking for at least a moderate sized pest. The little caterpillars eat around even small leaf veins.
