love it. i alwys heard for living soil the bigger the pot the easier the grow i think for what your doing a 2x4 bed would work great one of those rain science ones. plants look great wondering where do you take your clones from on new plants the top or bottoms ?

@204medismoke That is true… that’s why those 100gals do so well. (Well that and some skilled growers aha). Yeah I contemplated doing a SIP bed, then SIP buckets… but the way I got my water setup right now it’s actaully really easy to just go in 5 minutes a day and water everything with a hose.
That and I like the footprint on the 1gals for hunting through plants. And I mostly grow indica Dom so height is never an issue… so I might try stacking containers next run for more soil volume.
In those pics I lollipopped the plant, so those clones all came from bottom/middle. Tops do make solid clones too though. (In this case I was just trying to get maximum number of cuts off that girl so I didn’t really touch the tops too much.) IMO it’s more about giving them a happy environment to root in. I’ve tried all this fancy stuff, like leach your plant of nitrogen, pre foliar it, pre-soak your cubes, using aero, dwc, etc… and I always come back to no prep Dome and Tray with RW because it’s super simple and roots start in 7 days usually.

I also made this male box (idea inspired by Katsu Bluebird). This one fits 2 one gal’s comfortably with saucers, or 1 five gal with a saucer (but space/height might be too restricted for a five gal pot.)

Really dig the male box idea too, I’ve got limited space so my option really is just bagging them…about the same permeability as a lambskin condom, which is to say not 100 percent effective

So it’s a sterilite with two 3 inch fans, I’m assuming one intake on bottom and one exhaust up top. Then covered with some kind of filter cloth? What did you use there?
Also did you junction them into a single plug?

indeed. Each end has a Filtrate 2200 MPR rated filter cut to size. (That’s the highest rating pollen blocking filter I could find around here.)
The only change I would make when I have the energy and time to do so is, adding watering spout with a plug so I don’t have to open the container at all unless I want to harvest pollen.
I’d imagine this box could make a decent quarantine chamber as well for new snips.
Those fans came as a two pack with a 2-to-1 adapter. But you can use two 2 or 3 input usb phone charging bricks if you have multiple separate fans.

I had double trouble (which was fire og x pre98 bubba) but those did not germinate unfortunately.

I paid $600usd for those moonwalker in auction for a 20pack of potentially unviable seeds. I managed to get one really really nice female and a whole lot of duds. That cross is coming out surprising stable due to the chemo father. The terps I’m getting SCREAM medicinal.
One mw/chemo male I found, I ended up cloning. Good structure like the moonwalker, not too much stretch about 1.5x. And the terps are like Tahoe/purple kush meets og meets grape flavoured spray paint. But it’s not an intense sharp spray paint, it’s more watered down and subtle but it’s noticeably there.
I’m just really curious to see how it translates to pain relief, but I have no doubt it will be amazing.

The pack literally had a sticker on it that said the seeds had a viability issue. It was a 15-20 pack so I had good hopes, but it was terrible germination rates, like 90% duds. (The dude who sold the auction didn’t post that side of the pack sneaky sneaky smh, but I saw a few of those packs before so knew that would be the case, as it was.)
It was kind of a gamble but once in a while I do that just to see if I can pull back some gold from the good ol’ days. 
… I gambled $600 on an old pack on Afghani Bullrider before too. Unfortunately those were all duds. 
But mannnn… that moonwalker pack was worth EVERYYYY PENNY based on that one female alone. Like when you’re on the floor and you can’t sleep and shits hurting, a small joint of that and you’re on blissful-island, chilling for like an hour, and then a beautiful sleep. And it’s just enjoyable smoke/flavor.

About 2 weeks flower.
Some very interesting exciting phenos in here…
The stretchy Black Lime Bubba X Mac Stomper smells crazy! Like squishing a lime in a cup, then squishing a sour orange into there, then adding some black salt and vinegar. The short one smells like strong lime and black salt.
The Double Trouble (og kush x bubba kush) looks really interesting too. Smells like a nice og, sharp gas, with an earthy undertone.
The Moonwalker Og x UBC Chemo are really interesting. Smell very potent. Mostly UBC Chemo dominant in structure (I’d say 90% of the population). I will be hitting one mother leaning to each side with a moonwalker chemo dominant male.
The male clone chamber is working surprising well! Will be harvesting pollen in a few days.

Around week 3 flower here.
This run was originally planned to be majority sensi for me, with select pollinations to to increase stock for future breeding work. I usually always separate my males but I tried that “male box” for the first time (I wanted to try something different because the run was just for me.)… I don’t think it worked. I believe my sensi run is now seeds. Kind of sucks because I needed sensi!
The good news is it will be really easy to tell which male comes up in the progeny because the Limed Orange (Black lime bubba x Mac stomper) male was super late to show flower and wreaks like limes.
I was going to hit certain cuts with both of these males anyways. The only difference now is that I’ll have to separate them after I pop them.
Here are my notes on the males:
Limed Orange (Black lime bubba x Mac stomper)
The male chosen was very similar to the Black Lime Bubba mother in both structure and terps, although it does have some added undertones from the Mac Stomper father. This plant had a stretch of about 1.5x. The dominant smell is of strong freshly squeezed lime mixed with black salt that comes from the BLB mother. There were also some subtle sweet orange and gas notes to the smell as well.
Moon Medic (Moonwalker Og X UBC Chemo)
The moonwalker og was dominant in both terps and structure from the male chosen. Only 2 of 20 plants expressed moonwalker dominant traits, one female, and this male. The male was very pungent and the dominant smell in the room. The terps were pretty much Moonwalker Og (exactly as the female mother I used) - Base notes of purple kush (grape, purple, kush) with undertones of hindu and subtle notes of Tahoe og (spice, gasssss).
