It’s used to lightly hold the branches down and where you want them. Sort of like a lower effort needed LST. Helps to create an even canopy increasing used grow area to fill out as much as possible in maximum light intensity
ah, so, it is a form of training just like super cropping or what ever you wish. just takes the place of stakes and tie downs?

In a nutshell that’s it.
Sorry mike just saw your Q @ChronicMcBudz is bang on.
The netting also can act as a lattice once’s your buds become heavy.
Whats the flower time on the dsh? Looks damn mature for week 5.
@beacher it’s 10 weeks but this is the most mature looking of the bunch. Flipped em on April 1 all were showing preflowers
Cool, they’re gonna be massive in 5 more weeks!
@mike28086 definite +1 for the use of nets! Best thing I added to my cabinet grow. It’s made spreading the canopy evenly a lot easier, and helped me curtail upward growth in the middle of the cab under the light.
I’m really seeing the benefit now that flowering’s underway, as a lot of smaller bud sites that would otherwise likely be hidden under higher fan leaves, are now getting plenty of light and a fighting chance to grow decent buds. Also helps keep neighbouring bud sites separated to keep airflow good and mould risks down
Since it’s not a rigid support system, lifting the pots to check their weight is still easy.
Dirt cheap too, the smaller packs of trellis netting will do several grows depending on the size of your area.
Those Dark Shadow Haze plants look mint @Mongobongo, can’t wait to see them finish!

Waooow i just love to see this , Nice work . good luck
Dat slight tip burn. Got those nutes dialed right in there!
There is one DSH phenom not liking the PPM at the moment
Screw that guy (girl). The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few lol
Seriously though when I have a plant like that I mix my regular nutes and just add a bit of water to that ones food. Not sure how easy that would be with your system…
must be important, when you start quoting Spock.

Deadly. Starting to get pretty orange there, when do they get the chopper? Got some Mill St on hand?
Still a few weeks away. And the beer will be cold on hand haha
