Hey yall lifes been keepin me too busy to do any updates so this’ll be a bit of a photo dump… I just bought a HLG Scorpion Diablo at wholesale with HLG’s 15% off sale plus free shipping which was a crazy good deal!! It’ll fit in my new AC Infinity tent and my 4x2 will become my new veg tent and my 2x2 will become my drying tent. I wasn’t getting experience fast enough…

Last run just turned out ok, the spider mites came and conqured my ass but I didn’t give up and fought them off with predator mites and lady bugs sure their were some casualties, not everyone made it, but I got some decent nug out of it. The apples and bananas and cream sundae did awesome quality wise, not so good quantity but that’s how I’d want it, swamp butter did well in the end too but I’m just not as into earthy edamame flavors as much but shes a great smoke.
NEXT UP:
I’m goin grape this run. I haven’t had a grape strain I didn’t like. A good deal of um give me a great body high for whatever reason, hope some of these will. Grape Jubilee sounds fire, most are from that drop. I’m gonna stagger seed poppin to try n spread out the harvests but I plan on keepin with the grape maybe crossing into blueberry… couldn’t help myself from gettin some blueberry gary from exotic, the high of gary seems so dominate in hybrids to me but much of the flavor isn’t so its a VERY similar high with dif flavors. I’ve been in love since my first taste of gary lol

took for fucking ever to get someone out to rip out and replace my carpet with hard floors but it finally got done. All the shit I had in that room fucked up my measurements, turns out I have enough space for a 5x5 instead of a 4x4. My HLG scorpion diablo would’ve only had less than a foot to the tent wall which woulda caused all kinds of heat problems, real releaved! New floors are gonna save me from so many problems. I can move my mushrooms in finally.
still goin with the grape run, same strains I mentioned but I’m getting a clone of Grape Gasoline, old breeders cut my boss paid way more than I can ever see myself payin, and Gary Payton, one of my favs lucky girl is gonna be a momma! Heats been crazy and I’ve fucked up 4 of 6 grape gary and the one goin rn was lookin pretty strained but shes comming back. I kept the rest in solo cups a few weeks longer than I wanted because of my flooring issues.

I accidentally super cropped the top one, didn’t like it. The other grape jubilee cross is taller and less cluttered in the middle but that might be partly because they spent too long in the solo cups. I liked the results of supercropping after flipping to get 3-4 colas instead of 2 and the growth kept up with the rest of the plant.
keep safe and learn some cpr this week! one of our most beloved in our community had a cardiac event recently and luckily he was in a hospital on another issue, thank the gods! Chances of surviving outside a hospital are only
6%!!!

What up growmiez!! I got off to a rough start… finally ran outta sohum soil and what I swiched it up to retains water way better and my high ass lost my grow log so I overwatered the fuck outta my girls but they’re bouncing back nicely. LOVE my scorpion diablo light this fall, that might change come summer cause shes hot.
I got an empty 4x2 I’ll move the youngins into later. Not sure if I’ll flower the big 3… I think I wanna try more sog than scrog this time but I just recently descided that. My planning skills need some work.

Looking good… i did want to mention… letting those seeds germinate in clear cups is bad for roots (light) etc… if you like to see root development through clear cups… just add a red plastic outside the clear to block light (best of both worlds) @hooddirt

Is there a mg deficiency? Or ph issue? Have you let the pots get dry every time between watering/ feeding ?

I’m not sure. I used sohum soil only for the first few years I been growin, I don’t think my new dirt is dealing with the pH like I got used to… The new soil also retains water more, I got used to just watering twice a week. I also tried a new kind of nutes I don’t like the results of so I’m switching back next feeding.
I changed up materials I use but didn’t change up my routine. I feel like I’m just getting everything dialed in, but I’m always happy for feedback/help I want to get better

Absolutely… im no know it all by any means!! But id say its a sign of overwattering / ph maybe… not bad though… try letting them get almost all the way dry man…
Its not how much you water each time that matters… its if you water before it is dry enough thats important for sure… wait until the pot feels as light the day you potted it before watering again… that was something i did wrong and i see some signs of similarity thats why i am saying anything lol… @hooddirt

oh hell yea I love learning from other peoples failures cause those are the best lessons. I didn’t have to worry about overwatering with Sohum soil nearly as much as I am now either they had great drainage
I see now it was a crutch and I have some relearning to do. I have def been overwatering tho. my light dries the topsoil pretty quickly, plus its been drier, so I see dry and water… hadn’t thought to feel the weight.
The three bigger plants always had trouble taking in nutes you think that was from overwatering too? the lower leaves kept sending their nutes to the top, figured it was a root problem maybe, I defiantly watered more after that started, the leaves weren’t droopy like they usually are

If you got any root rot going on then yes they will start to have problems talking nutes in like before… so it could be from overwatering… are you using nutes and soil?? Or just the soil and water only?

@Terpsnpurps I use soil and lite nutes. I go heavier nute during flower. I was def overwatering, u was right. I got a bunch of clones off the big 3 then got rid of um. also potted up the ladies and they’re lookin much happier. found some soil thats closer to what I’m used to water retention wise
