I just noticed this Tangiedos clone was getting some brown/bronze spots. I have an inkling it is a nutrient deficiency. I switched my plants to flower and we are on day 4. I’m hesitant to add nutrients since they were transplanted 8 days ago from 1.7 g to 5 g using FFOF, which I know runs hot. They’ve had a rough start to flower as well. I switched to 400 w hps from CFL and after battling temps, I caved and bought a yield master air cooled hood and temps have been great for 24 hours. This is the only leave on the plant with this and the other plants look totally fine. I just hope to nip this in the butt if it is something I need to adjust.
Umm.da fuq?.
if all other leaves look good cut it off and move on
looks like a water spot
but who know sorry

I do have hard water in my humidifier. But it usually shows up on leaves as white. This is the first time I’ve seen it show up as a brown “burnt” spot.
a water drop and HID light and you get lensing
a guess
Is that actually the color?
It’s rather dark, I’d suspect nitrogen toxicity (I’ve done that) if the color is correct.

I haven’t added any nutrients. You think the Fox Farm Ocean Forest would be too hot still?
so have I but the green is almost black at that point ?
It’s not optimal but it’s not going to cause serious problems.
It varies with the cultivar - a lot!
Right now, in the same soil, I have a CBD sativa that’s showing mild toxicity and a couple others telling me they are hungry… One size fits all does not exist.
{edit} I agree, those spots look like water damage, but keep an eye on them just in case they are growing.

That does look like early nitrogen toxicity to me, having the same issue as we speak, uppotted to a 1:3 perlite : FFOF, one of my BOG LSD, flushed 2 days before transplant, may have gone heavy on supplemental nutes prior to transplant( pre-flushed)…pics shortly. New growth is good today, but still dark lower with similar spots…
Fortunately my other two clones are doing great in the soil. It should run out of nutrients in the next week or two and hopefully I can give it some big bloom!
Have you tried Happy Frog? I’m thinking of moving to that after I run out of OF. It seems like this stuff is potent!
My up-pot was from a perlite: Happy Frog 1:4 mix it went into from a rapid-rooter start, was a bit rootbound in its’ Solo pre transplant. Haven’t been back in the game long after a long absence. My eyes and gut tell me a Happy Frog base with some perlite and supplemental nutes would be preferable, in my conditions, at this point but will wait till it’s finished before passing judgement on its’ totality.
Have 4 Maui-Wowie (CB) fem, 3 other BOG LSD, and 2 BOG Sour Blutooth females showing no ill effects from the same regime…
