Hello OG’s, It’s that time of year when everyone is busy. There are many grows happening right now that will be harvested in December, friends will be celebrating and having a great time. OverGrow hasn’t had many contests this year, so lets talk about a 2022 Picture of the year contest with categories like Art, Cannabis and Life. As prizes for these categories I will be ordering 3 trays personalized for winners by @Bobgrows , 3 medium size Overgrow stickers for those trays and 3 3D printed grow cup holders with OG 2022 on them. I will be covering shipping cost to all 6 individual OG’s.
30 Small, 10 medium and one Large OverGrow sticker will be given away through out the celebration.
In addition @buckaroobonsai I would like to put in a order for 3 ashtrays like mine to add to the prize list. I will add shipping cost of all three.
Last year OG’s gave away nearly 1000 seeds to fellow growers, what will this years POTY contest be like? Dibs protocol will be added, when a OG wants to give out some seeds to others they can start a post with the next person or persons to say Dibs wins a pack of seeds from the OG who posted the give away. Last years event the seeds were sent out all at one time by several different OG to more than 30 OG’s. I sent seeds to @Shadey for being the OG with the most votes overall, first they came back for not enough postage, then they never arrived. I’m unsure the other seeds i sent ever arrived as well. Everyone involved with the seeds given away wanted for everyone to get something from the event and it was complete chaos for everyone involved. Almost all the seeds arrived but many never verified or left OG for awhile and forgot they had won. Using Dibs gets instant results for both sender and receiver while keeping OG’s engaged with the event. If you only want ship within your country please state it in your post, should you decided to give away something. It doesn’t have to be seeds, got a light your not using? Give it away. The shipping cost is on the sender no matter what your sending. The intro to the contest will be updated every 48 hours to add OG’s who do Dibs or added prizes and sticker give aways.
All OG’s will have the ability to vote one time in each category. The person who posts the picture will need to provide what their category is, ART will be covering all mediums, sunsets, pencil, painting’s, existential if your a artist then you understand. Cannabis will cover all things related, biggest buds, tasty nugs, gooey dripping processing, anything cannabis. Life will cover your pets, what your eating or cooking, that perfect time of day inside or outside… the choice is yours.
To the 3D printer community… I would like to commission the making a OverGrow trophy, designed by OG’s. I know zero about 3D printers so this will be a project for y’all to work out. What it would look like, how much will it cost, can one be made for each category with a OG logo and the category won. I will leave this project up to those who choose to try and bring together a team to get to job done.
@DougDawson I need your assistance to make this event the very best it can be in many ways.
Before I continue with the process of making this event happen i would like to hear what OG’s have to say about this being good or bad idea, what could change about what I have in mind to make it better?
