This is my salvia d plant. I was given it a 1 month or so ago im not quite sure, i decided to move her in after a half frost event in the area. While doing this i took four cuts. I was successful at rooting 3 out of 4.
These are the three rooted cuts.
I will be giving them 2 more days in water and on the sill then shall transplant to cups.
I have since taken 5 or so more cuttings and am in the process of rooting them in well water from the faucet.

Looking great @Pawsfodocaws and your plant is so much happier than mine!
All the growth of mine died off, but then it sprouted from its roots. It’s now in my bathroom where I baby it and it’s slowly growing back. Eventually when it’s large enough I’ll take cuts and propagate to keep the good cycle goin’.
Thanks for sharing!

Ya they are. I have been cloning them successfully since i brought her in for the winter. I have 5 more to check on in a day. I will be planting them as well if they show sufficient roots. A friend here, @RainToday gave me this plant a little while ago. So kind. I plan on planting a ton of it next season. Should be fun.

Yeah, it was happy outside as long as the temps didn’t dip below 40f. I left one out in the (dry) upper 30s a couple years ago and it started to turn purple and look unhappy, so I think the folks online are right about that being the limit, but they sure do grow well outside 3/4 of the year! Delighted to see you are having fun with it Paws

I have space at my place to keep this amazing plant alive and happy. I think this year is too cold and late to ship my way. I would be honored to do my part to keep it alive
