@ReikoX, @Jellypowered and @cannabissequoia sent me my first OG seeds. @ReikoX LRUV still remains one of my all time favourite. I wish I’d reversed one and done a feminised run as I doubt that smell could ever be recreated.

Oldjoints

Was such a memorable day.

I was always reading of members receiving seeds and when I saw a thread OJ made offering seeds to new growers and those in need of seeds - I signed up!

I had a few seeds I purchased . But never received some gifts from a forum member until then!

Very grateful

Back in 05 I was gifted some heirloom beans from the FlyinHawaiian(could be spelling it wrong after all these years) of Molokai Frost. It was pretty much a pure sativa and I remember it took forever to finish. I think it went 20+ weeks from flip but it was some really unique stuff especially for back then. I still got a few pics too…

Yeah when I got those beans back then I had no clue what I was getting as he just said “tropical Hawaiian sativa”. I was only growing a few years so it was a little overwhelming flowering something for almost 6 months. I think it could of done with a bigger pot and I went easy on the nutes especially nitrogen being it’s an equatorial that I never grew before. I think it’s one of those that do better under the big halide in the sky rather then inside but I know he made some crosses that brought down the flower time. I remember the buzz was awesome and I would start doing crap like start cleaning or some other project. It was definitely the opposite of a couch-locker, lol. I remember the taste was really exotic and very floral with a little bit of like a c99 tropical fruit undertone to her. Damn I can’t believe that was already 17 years ago, yikes.

Holy Mother of God, how big was the whole plant?

Man that thing was crazy, I got 10 foot ceilings and still had to tie up and bend the fooker. I used to run 1 - 1k HPS and 1 - 1k MH on a light mover so it got a few different spectrums.
