Do you smoke Thai?

I think there is a good chance finding that in a green or brown thai too so don’t limit the search just to purple. The oregon purple thai was a cross of chocolate thai and oaxacan (mexican) and DJ used this as one of his parental lines in his work.

Thanks for the info! Which breeders should I be looking at for the greens and browns?

Ohh that I don’t know I gather all seeds from the best ones I smoke but I would recommend you to look at The Real Seed Co collect and sell landrace type seeds and they have a few Thai/Lao things that might be a good start.

I bought Mango Thai, Lao Gold and Bokeo#2 last year and I know there are a few of the other Lao ones I have been looking to get.

I have some nice Oaxaca from Cryptic Labs via @Upstate. I already have a few seeds from the Oaxaca with a Lemon Thai dad. I think those two should pair really nice.

For sure… is lemon thai the one originally from Dutch Flowers?

Yes, and it was @santero that worked the one I have and another forum friend from Opengrow made another generation.

The ones from him all got crushed mostly and I think what I grew were Santero’s. I think I got one from the other buddy (Thanks @Smilestyle and @santero! ) I had two males and one nice stinky female.

San is the man for sure! I have one of his Oaxacan crosses too and looking forward to try some in the near future.

I figured I’d ask here. Anyone ever seen any Thai strains with serrated edged leaves like this?

Damn what’s that one called? Those leaves look like they could kill someone lol

Only thing known about this strain is Nothing…
It’s Called Chocoloso F2 & the story that came with it.

A group of long time breeders kept adding strains into a Vault and after 5yrs of adding to this Vault, the group disbanded & the Vault was left to someone, who eventually gave away 2 shoe boxes of Genetics to someone els, and that someone els sent me this strain…

Litterly nothing els is know about it.

A friend in Colorado sent 1 of the seeds for Genetics testing at a lab his Cannabis shop uses and the lab came back with nothing… Actually the lab thought the name was mis spelled and came back with info about ChocoLoco… very similar spelling. But we highly doubt is just Chocoloco … I mean just look at it lol
@VAhomegrown

I’ve since planted 3 more seeds of this one and waiting to see if the others come out looking like this or if this a unicorn moment.

All I know for sure is that it’s a Sativa based on the leaves and grow structure so far.

Here are a few more photos just now.

This middle leaf grew almost only half the width on 1 side only.

More seedlings of the same strain.

If I can’t narrow down to what this is generally, I guess it will be forever known as Chocoloso F2, but it will be F3 soon enough.

The ONLY other person that IS growing This specific strain is this dude. I only know this because the person who sent me the seeds also sent the other half to this fella. His photo below looks like what I’ve got growing, but without the deep serrated edges…

He’s saying this is Thai X Thai cross, but he literally knows the same info as Me… I aggree, it’s gotta be a Thai strain and it’s labeled as F2. So let the hunt begin :smirk:

Those leaves are beautiful. Looks like some of the blades have double serrations too.
