My dog has had “loose” shit for the past little while. We took him to the vet and they said he likely had giardia so they gave us some meds to help cure it.
It helped, a little.
A few days ago I transplanted some autos on the balcony and spilled an expected amount of promix which is peat moss and perlite.
The peat moss blew away leaving some of the perlite which my dog had been eating. We tried to stop him but he’d always find more in the nooks and crannies.
Low and behold, his shit is more regular.
Do with this information what you will. I realize it’s a little gross.
But, perlite cures dog diarrhea. Nobody was more surprised than me.
Maybe I need to find him food with more fiber in it.
Growing cannabis is full of advantages!
I’m not saying you should deliberately give your dog perlite, it’s just something funny I noticed.
That is nasty “shit” I was infected when my Doc came back from bear hunting. It took a lot of meds and time to get ride of it It is a parasites’, I don’t think it was the Perlite lol
