Dry herb vaporizer...Who uses them?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of those before. Sorry to hear it sucked cause while $90 may be on the cheaper side for a vape it’s still a good chunk of change to part with to be disappointed. It looks nice

That’s crazy, especially since Arizer is a Canadian company.

I bought mine two years ago during a 4/20 sale. They offered with a bundle that included a discounted price, some extra stems and a carrying case. I haven’t regretted the purchase one bit.

I have a Ghost MV1 and a Dynavap. The dynavap is fine, but makes you look a little like a crackhead when you use it.

The Ghost has incredible flavor, but it’s always had a tendency to overheat if you don’t draw long enough or slow/steady enough. Also, the company went out of business so there’s no warranty/support anymore.

I’ve got the Ghost as well and I love it. I haven’t had any overheating issues with mine since the first couple weeks I had it. Took me a while to get using it dialed in though.

I found the hardest part to get right was the size to grind/chop the buds to load the thimbles. It took lots of fucking around to find the best way, but if I have stuff on the drier side I’ll break it up pretty small with my fingers. If slightly moister I will using a knife and a wooden cutting board and chop it pretty fine(I’m a cook and keep sharp knives, wouldn’t recommend with dull knives). Once I got that figured just right it gives me a lot more leeway with how I can hit it.

Also, on the higher heat settings, a lot of times I’ll let off the heat and keep inhaling for a while about halfway through the cycle. There is plenty residual heat to still get pretty massive hits.

I haven’t been able to really get it to preform well with hash, but don’t really know about other concentrates.

I was bummed when they went out of business, some of the design aspects are really nice, especially compared to a lot of other stuff on the market. Also, I should have jumped on getting a back up battery when they were still easy to find! Biggest down side for me is custom/proprietary components

To be honest, I’m not 100% sure it’s an overheating issue but it behaves like heat has something to do with it. When it gets good and hot, the door wants to pop open. The issue completely disappears when it cools. The challenge there is if I want to pop out a used up crucible and pop in a fresh one, I often have to wait 20-30 minutes for it to cool enough. Kinda limits the shareability. It’s enough of a hassle that I often find myself wishing I had bought something else.

If anyone wants a pax 3? Just stumbled upon grasscity having a sale. 130 for the basic kit, 163 for the complete kit. WT-4BBH68D. Works as a 20% off code.

I’ve been looking at the Mighty…what kind of upkeep does it take?

Don’t forget guys the 4/20 sales are around the corner. Might be worth holding on another month and getting a better deal.

Hey @KillerKrickit. I just wipe out the chamber with some iso. It stays clean if you use the “capsules” but I don’t always. The heating chamber comes apart easily and can be soaked in iso to clean. Or you can soak the pieces in some warm milk for a bit then drink that shit for a quaking stone! Upkeep has never been a hassle. I’ve got several chambers and keep a clean backup. I love my mighty!

I have two one is for heavy hitting quickly and the other is the vax I won here. I love them both and charge both load them then go back to back. There’s a shit ton of oil inside the tubes.

I’m looking for a larger version that doesn’t break the bank. I have a. Infection in my body. After too many hot dab hits and short bowls torching my throat I decided to go handheld vape. I frigging love vap. That’s a cool little deal you have. Here’s my couple.

Damn charger fell out. Lol that’s how much I use them. One bowl may get 20+ good hits. I love dumping the refuse out. It’s like Ahhhh. My lungs thank you 2. Hehe. Have a good one bro.:v:

When your learn the pull on each vaporizer you go oh shit that’s what they were saying. People who never used one don’t give it a chance. I slow draw until it blinks then draw some more and then my lungs seize up. Haha!

@oleskool830 can I get all that oil and ingest it lol? Holler at the house if you can. I’m looking for a new vape.

Damn man… I can get a Pax3 from GrassCity (thanks @SerialSquishy) for less that $150… I had a Pax2 that had the charger connections on the unit shit the bed but overall enjoyed using it. For a hundo less than the Mighty I’m feeling like I should pull the trigger.
What are the chances a 4/20 sale will be less than $145 on the Pax3?
Anybody using a Pax3 right now?

I’m in the market for a portable dry vaporizer. Do you still own and use the Hydrology 9? IT looks different than any others I’ve seen. Still enjoying it?

For what it’s worth I have a hydrology9 and I’m just not a big fan.

I’m not sure why. It might be that I have to draw too hard and it’s like drinking a milkshake through a thin straw.

Maybe it’s just me - other people really like it.

Yes, but it is not portable, I vape only at home, it works as a bong, smooth and easy … beer3|nullxnull

Thanks for your 2 cents. That means more than 10 “fake” online reviews. I never trust Amazon reviews. Just paid product endorsements.

What are your thoughts on that Firefly? And is it the newest model?

It’s the newest one, it’s good, gets the job done, but it leaves a lot of uncooked material, which I finish off with my volcano. (I mostly use it for concentrates, but even then its kinda shoddy and needs to be cleaned a lot.)

If I could go with something different, I would go with the Puff Co Peak for concentrates and just stick with the volcano for dry herb. You can’t beat the volcano in dry herb.

I do the contrary, little draw witth lips almost jointed but for a long time an then the big draw once all the vapor in my mouth … beer3|nullxnull
