Buy a vacuum sealer with a stop and seal button the higher priced ones have that option. You can vacuum as little or as much as you want then seal at any given time .
Ahhhhhhā¦ interesting. Thanks for the clarification, I have never let it get to that dust crumbly dry place on my own, but Iām coastal so thatās almost hard to do here.
Back when I would still acquire grass like that I dont even think boveda packs were around. Never a problem now that I get all my grass from myself, and with my climate things tend to go the other way when humidity is a problem.
Are you also saying that you have never encountered this horrid crispy black ash from lack of flushā¦ ever?
Again, not doubting you, just kinda surprised, and suddenly wondering if this is a BC thing? Cuz this shit is just standard cultural lore here, right down to how youāve gotta cut the outdoor organic guys a little more slack on the ash colour because things donāt flush the same out in the bush.
They used to make a Mason jar attachment for Food Sealer vacuum baggers. This is what I use and itās great, but they seem to be hard to find now.
Iām on a waiting list for thatā¦
What is your impression of weed stored in a partial vacuum? I was wondering if that would cause more terpenes to vape off the weed or not?
Cheers
G
Iāve stored mine jarred and vacuumed for several months and I honestly feel like it just gets better. I have never felt that things lost flavour that way, if anything Iāve found that a good 3 month cure brings out a richer bouquet.
not to the point it would not relight and you had to crumble off the end. That was always rehydrated bud. Now you have to understand I have been thru some times when I smoked leaf for months. I have smoked for almost 50 years now.
My feeling is this is not from flush but rather from unethical dealers rehydrating weed that should have been pressed or thrown out. But if you managed to create some another way I would be glad to hear about it.
