Drying tent size

So I’m doing a sort of perpetual grow and need to build up a drying tent. Just don’t know how much space I should go with. RN I have a flower and veg tent both 4x4s so I’m not gonna be chopping more than 2lbs/harvest. Y’all think a 2x4 is big enough or should I go 4x4/5x3 it’s gonna need enough room for a portable ac. Humidifier and dehumidifier(which is why I’m leaning towards the bigger tent)

My drying space is about twice as big as my tent (2x4). I don’t put a dehuey or ac in it though.

Well I probably won’t need the extra dehumidifier till spring since winter airs so dry here but I’m not keeping the house at 60*f so the ac still needed🙃

2x4 is probably fine for harvests coming from a 4x4. Once you pluck the bigger fan leaves or any yellow leaves and hang the plants whole upside down, they take up quite a bit less space.

My best recommendation for the drying tent is an exhaust fan with a humidity monitor built in, such as an AC Infinity with the humidity and temp control. Setting that to 60% humidity and putting the probe in between your plants (but not touching any plant matter) will make sure your drying happens perfectly. You may use a small fan inside the tent, but only blow it on low against a wall, never against the plants. Oh, and you’ll want a Phresh filter. No point cheaping out with other brands that are less reliable.

I’m not to worried about the smell I was thinking the ac infinity fan with humidity control or a booster fan hooked to an inkbird since their won’t be a light generating any heat. Wasn’t planning on hanging by the plant but by the branch just to keep it tighter.

Whole plant drying slows dry time. It’s your grow, so do what you think. The Inkbird would work, but the AC infinity would be a more streamlined & robust setup that you can use for years to come.

I use a 2x4x6 tent for drying.
