When I started on the farm I started a bunch of different things. They all slowly died on my back porch, because I got to busy

Yea rice water rinse mixed with equal amount of milk. Separated like that in under 24 hours.

Anyone know what amount of labs to use per gallon or am I searching 🫠

It depends, from what I understand that’s a blanket term and there’s a few type you can be going for. I shot a buddy a text hes big into the ferment stuff. But if that’s the same stuff he makes it’s gonna stink bad. Also you have to feed it. So you’re making yourself a new little pet lol.

I was just reading a tutorial. I did it very different than what is being discussed.
I strain the rice water and added equal amount of milk immediately and let it sit. Separated in under 24 hours. I just put that in the fridge until I can get the middle part. I’ll give it a shot anyway

Yeah but I think that’s the difference on what type of bacteria you’re trying to make if I remeber correct. He went down a rabbit hole trying to explain it to me. Annnd I am to lazy for alll that I just use tps billions. Just a pinch will do ya!

@Indicana_Jones Up from the 36th chamber, it’s the Crunch Berry!

Hey @Emeraldgreen I use 1 tsp LABS per gallon of water.

LABS has a yeasty-sweet smell and no feeding required. You can either keep the whey serum in the fridge or shelf stabilize it with a sugar source. Maybe your thinking of Photosynthesis +. That shit stinks to high heaven.
Here’s a couple videos on LAB making

Thank you @CrunchBerries does my picture above look correct?

Mornin’ @Emeraldgreen It looks like the curd has separated from the whey, so you should be good. Nice work!

I did a very different method with it! I mixed the rice rinse and milk together immediately and put a solid lid on it.
I’ll strain today and see how it goes

Good morning everyone. Have a great day
