Yep finding good testers who understand what you need to hear is definitely key! I have a few go to testers either neighbors or very close friends and they understand my background (culinary arts) and I don’t like compliments I want constructive criticism and feedback so I can improve on stuff. My weed barely makes the mark for me I’m so hard on myself and hold myself to high standards. It’s just looking back and understanding where there is room for improvement. It’s crazy my buddy I just bought from I tried to give him that feedback like I want and he just acted offended and im like bro I wanna help you grow better stuff I don’t mean this by offense by any means just telling you where there’s room for improvement. He kept saying it works for me and I havent seen any seeds yet and i trimmed 5 lbs and im like i get it the shit gets me high too but im trying to help man. Some people don’t like it but some do. I’m always trying to improve so hit me with your worst ya know?

I bought some from a buddy recently. Nobody was excited about it. I’ve never heard him say my stuff is better than his in years 
. I actually want him to enter competition, so he can get an accurate sense of his ability on a larger area than he’s used to.

I’ve had a former buddy like that when we started growing but no matter how you did things his way was better because he bought all the expensive shit (farmers kid and grew up rich) and I just has a budget build. It’s like no matter what I did or said his stuff was superior in every way to him and you couldn’t tell the guy anything he was the worst in that regard
He’s used to being the top guy in his group. NY is a big state with a lot of excellent growers. Everything is changing and it means competition increases. He’s amazing with extracts!
Ahh so he just needs to be introduced to better challenges and needs to set higher standards and goals! Gotta always be setting and achieving new goals and accept that fact that you can never know everything. Shoot let the man listen to Bruce bugbee for a few hours im sure he will be humbled lol
