EsRgood4u multiple grow journals thread

Thanks for your input @ReikoX. I’ll be showing him my thread and everybody’s feedback and opinions on the trichome pictures. All I can think is he likes a couch lock kind of buzz. I’ve tried explaining that a lot of auto flowers don’t even amber up much if at all.
A picture of the dry bud. It’s been curing a couple of weeks now and the smell is just getting stronger by the day.

My outdoor plants hated my RO ph’d water. lol They are happier with dechlorinated tap water. Couldn’t tell you why

I’ve never understood the RO water concept. Why strip out all of the nutrients that come in tap water then have to spend more money on things such as calmag to put them back in again? It just seems counter productive to me. I don’t even de chlorinate my water.

Haha same here brother. . .Im glad we think alike :grin:

Ha ha. We certainly do @Hoodini mate. My plants love regular tap water. I’ve only ever had a nutrient problem once or twice and it was lack of calcium and magnesium that caused it as I didn’t have my ph meter at the time. Once I got the water to the correct ph level and foliar fed a bit calmag to them my problems disappeared :+1:

Lol well fine I’ll get a damn ph meter and ppm meter lol, my buds on my first hydro test don’t seem anywhere near as dense as they normally are outside in soil ? Im using megacrop, it might be lack of proper lighting though too (only about 3 hours direct sunlight) any thoughts bro?

per Jorge Cervantes book "Marijuana Horticulture " chlorine in the correct amounts is even beneficial to the grow!
That’s my $.02!

The real question is how does it smoke?

Lack of light causes fluffy buds mate so I’d definitely be saying your light isn’t strong enough.

Ill hand a few buds out to friends to see what they think. Each person has different tolerances. The plants were taking at the right time. Cloudy trichomes. The dry buds are frosty as fuck and the smell is getting intense as the days go by. If they say it’s shit smoke then all it can be is bad genetics.

by dechlorinate it, I mean I leave the bucket of tap water out in the sun in between watering to evaporate some off. lol

Lol leaving it sat over night is still de chlorination. Chlorine is a micro nutrient that is used by plants so why try to remove it?? http://plantprobs.net/plant/nutrientImbalances/chlorine.html
Honest I use straight out of the tap water mixed with my nutrients in both my bubble bucket and soil. I’m not the most experienced gardener here on OG. But my girls have never shown me that they don’t like the water :+1:

The way I look at it is you strip out everything, then add what the plant needs in the right proportions. My water comes out at 250ppm and a pH of 8.1-8.5 depending on the time of year. If you had a nice 100ppm water source, I wouldnt use the RO.

Yeah my water is 150ppm from the tap and ph is around 7.5 so it’s quite soft. By the time I add my nutrients I very rarely need to use any ph down.

I’d almost culled her. I’m glad I came on here and asked for advice. I’m thinking she’s just a light feeder and I stunted her with to much nutrients. We are having several showers per day here in the UK so I don’t even bother with her and just let her do her own thing :+1:

She actually looks like she could use a low strength feed if your feeling fiesty lol if not keep an eye on her just incase

I’m not touching her mate. I’ll let her do her own thing lol
