The first pic is of all 4 girls together in the flower tent.

  1. Left rear is Ethos Cookies, 2. Rear right is Sweet Pink Stink (Bubblegum × Purple Urkle), 3. Front left is Manderin Sunset (Herojauna × Orange Skunk), 4. And front right is ChemDD. The two girls in the back were put into 12/12 on Friday 1-8-21. And the front two girls were put into 12/12 exactly a week later on Friday 1-15-21.

Second pic is the left side of tent- Manderin Sunset in the front, and Ethos Cookies in the back

Third pic is the right side of tent- ChemDD in front, and Sweet Pink Stink in the back.

So these are some pics of the ChemDD at about 17th day of 12/12 so its obviously a boy. I’m pretty bummed about that. But I did pull him out of the main flower tent and tried to keep him going for a while longer to maybe collect pollen and maybe pollinate a few branches or lower buds of the other girls. And/or maybe even save some for a little later when I run Chem 91, and Triangle Kush by CSI Humboldt and hit those with some pollen. That could make for a nice cross. But keeping a full blown male around and not letting it impregnate all of my precious little girls is easier said than done. So I chopped down the ChemDD male at day twenty-something after shaking him over a trim bin tray. Then saved the biggest and best clusters of pollen sacs and laid them on the same trim bin and put the trim bin with pollen sacs into the cardboard box that it came in so that the cut branches may continue to open as they die and dry out. I dont dont know. My first time trying this. Any tips or tricks and advice is welcome.
Thanks in advance, Sparks.

If you are looking at pollen storage information, I have seen several discussions here, a search should turn up good results.

Basically sieve out the florets.
Bake some flour (something like 150C for 30 min). Once cool, mix the flour with the pollen (10:1 to 100:1) and store in fridge. I’d suggest food saver vacuum packaging for long term.
The baked flour serves as desiccant to dry the pollen and bulks up the volume.

Cheers
G

Thanks for the info Gpaw! Sounds simple enough. Gonna have to search for any more tips and tricks but I think with what you’ve given me I should be OK. I also need to search storing the pollen once its collected. Probably in the refrigerator.
Thanks again for your help Gpaw.

These are more pics of Sweet Pink Stink (Bubblegum × Purple Urkle) by CSI Humboldt at about 75 days after flip. This is a clone of the last one pictured before this. The first was from seed. These pics are of one of the cuttings taken from that seed run. Sorry for being absent for so long. Lifes been really getting in the way of my journaling time lately and I truly apologize for that. But if anyone is interested, I’ve been still growing out some different strains and would be happy to share some photos with you guys!
I’ve got a Cherry-Gar-See-Ya by Ethos that’s coming down tomorrow or the next day. It’s at day 64 right now and has beautiful deep red and Purple colors as she finishes. And a few others that recently came down. Stay tuned if you’re interested.

So I’ve got a White Wedding rbx by Ethos Genetics going right now at about 33 days since the flip to 12/12 in the picture. Shes untopped little Christmas tree bush full of frost and looking good!
Shed probably look even better if I wouldn’t neglect her so much. Started a new job (construction) and I come home so tired from work that I don’t even want to spend any time with my plants. Shes been on a straight RO water diet and is in the very beginning stages of looking hungry. Not good timing because she’s building buds right now so I hope the soil has enough goodies in it to keep her happy.

I grew out some white wedding R1 that came in my multipass box. It was some good smoke. Nice light cookie taste that ended sweet.
