Answer to the question?
I do and I dont, come summer its my time.
Friends/family come up to the cabin to fish and party so I shut shit down.
Besides I dont have to contend with heat, bugs, mold or whatever else.
If I decide to take off and got to devils lake for a week or head south to visit, no worries.

But come that magic month, always has an itch associated with it.
Besides stash normally getting down there.
Can’t be without, ya know .

I’m a type of person that always has a long term hobbie. I’ve always had pets, though they are all getting up in age and recently I lost a lot of them . So replacing animals (now that I’m also raising a child, animals aren’t the same) with gardening has been a blessing for me. Plus this is the only hobby that truly pays for itself and your efforts. Sure I got some money here and there selling corals out of the reef tank I had for 7 years, but nothing near what I put into it, then it just crashes after a power outage.

Nope, I’ve never get tired of growing. I Love looking at my plants.

…the tasks that come with it sure. Everyone has ups and downs and work is work.

(Also, usually when you’re in that kind of rut it’s not necessarily the Marijuana that has you there. Just something going on in your life - Any major changes in your life? Has Marijuana always had your heart racing? Could be numerous things, strain, amount, environment, mind-set, etc.)

I’m super tired of growing right now. Outdoor growing is a lot of work and battling caterpillars and bud rot through the hottest part of summer is exhausting. I’m really glad my last plant will be down this weekend and I can work on the rest of my garden that got neglected while tending to my cannabis. Right now I’m over it.

I say this around this time every year, then by winter I’m chomping at the bit for spring when I can start all over. :joy:

Really, fuck outdoor growing. I hate to say it, but it’s just so stressful. I got really ambitious with an outdoor garden (superhots) a couple years ago and did a full acre and got so burned out I am not sure I could ever garden outside again unless I lived in the most temperate, easy to grow area. Nature is just brutal. The bugs, the weather, the fungus, the animals. Nature’s will is far, far stronger than mine apparently–she really broke me; my body feels ravaged and I feel a decade older from worry.

Things seem easier on the coast, though. It seems easy to grow in a place like Santa Cruz or the Central CA coast, but that’s only speculation.

I’m in Southern Cali lol and I still fight the elements. It’s a love/hate relationship for me. I love veg, hate flower lol Not growing an acre though, just 9 trees and a few containers. Still epic work. The plants run my life in flower.

@GramTorino…you can actually build some really nice rooms with that thick insulation board and some foil tape. I’ve seen a few really impressive ones
