UPDATE: MENDO BREATH S1
It’s been longer than I expected but I finally took the top off the Mendo Breath S1 to make a chunky clone.
The branching on this this is incredible! Quite a worthy specimen of the strain to have as a mother plant
Even without its top she’s still quite the looker. She’s going to live in the propagation tent for the week while I sex the Mexican Death Sativa; which is also long overdue.
I’m in love with the leaves off this plant; most 
i’ve seen in anything I’ve grown.
UPDATE: SOLO CUP ROUND 2
6 of 6 are up and doing their thing.
The 4x auto flowers will start getting lite feeding starting today in addition to the worm casting topping. The 2x photo periods will get food as well, but not as much as the autos.
The BOG SourBluTooth is already impressive compared to the other 5x plants, you can really tell the strength in it’s genes right off the bat.
The Crockett’s Tangie had trouble with it’s helmet and is coming along; I took tweezers to it yesterday as it needed the physical help as keeping the seed casing wet to help it along was reaching a point of diminishing returns (potential damp issues if I continued.
I plan on popping a few more beans in the next few weeks; all singles as I’m finding the process therapeutic now that the snow is coming down.

UPDATE: MEXICAN DEATH SATIVA
This little tyke is just that: LITTLE? I know it had a dry-out issue after transplant but didn’t expect it to be this small at 5 weeks in from sprouting.
It’s been alone for 3 days at 12/12 with a FarRed initiator going for 15min after lights off. I’m starting to see something coming in… and I hope for pistils!
If it’s female i’m going forward with the ΩPot; but if it’s male I’m going to cull it cause as much fun as it would be to do a pollen run it’s not the most impressive plant I’ve grown to feel the months of extra work being worth the effort.

Since taking of the top for the clone, it’s branches have started to reach out and fatten up.
UPDATE: SOLO CUP CHALLENGE: ROUND 2
They are on day #11 since hitting water and all are doing me proud; even the Tangie which got it’s head stuck in it’s helmet so it’s first leaves are a bit wonky but the new growth looks fine.
Every day I give the 4x Auto flowers (Trizzler F2, MI5 x Midnight Express, Ghost Rose x Cookie Devil, & Strawberry Shortcrack, in blue speed cups) 1 oz of week 1 nutes, and the same every-other-day with the 2x photoperiods (Sour BluTooth F2 & Crockett’s Tangie F2).
This time around I just used plain old ProMix BX in the cups with a worm castings topping instead of a layered cold/hot mix and already I can see the plants want more food that I’ve been giving them. They’ll get their way, but starting on the weekend.

It’s been 2 weeks since soil so they are getting up-potted to keep their groove going.
I have been questing both of these strains for a good part of 2021 so I’m going a little overboard with them and have decided to go all in with their cycle… so I bough 2 of the cutest of all Air-pot sizes for the up potting!

@Sebring was so kind to include a sample of DynoMyco with my most recent DIY Greenlife order so i’ve decided to open it up and have added a small spoonful of it on top of some worm castings also tossed into the planting hole. The sides and bottom of the airpot are rammed with medium; i really do love these things after using them now for a few months 
All done, and now they’re gonna be dosed daily with food and soon moved into the 2x2 once I’m done sexing the Mexican Death Sativa.
When they get beefier it’ll be time to sex them and while I don’t have gender biases in life I do at times when growing cannabis and hope for a pair of strong women.

MEXICAN DEATH SATIVA
Well, it’s a bittersweet development but these things happen: ♂
The far red helped with the gender reveal; which at this point isn’t a party as I needing it to be a ♀ to keep moving forward with it.
Otherwise, it’s such a pretty plant I hate to see it go so i’m going to take it out of the tent for the solo-cups & the smaller photo periods and put it with the citrus to enjoy it until I HAVE TO cull it.
I still have 8 MDS seeds in the bank so I can start one up again when ready. I think I’m going to pop a few other things in between now just to take a time out; one didn’t pop, and now a male so me thinks going for three beans at once next time gives me better odds of getting at least 1 fem.
And if they are all female… well it’ll be a mixed bag but at least the ΩPot will get it’s plant!

Now I have the

I drove home (50min), took Dog to pee, took myself to pee, GAVE BEANS A SHAKE IN THE SANDBOX AND TOSSED EM INTO WATER I’m that excited!
Now I go make dinner.

This one makes me nervous. Not because it’s doing anything different than the others… no but because of seeing what 
is able to achieve with this strain in his grows in the sterile micro-cubes. I know i’ll do this plant justice, I just hope to heck I can grow it as sexy as the plants that created the beans in the first place! On a poetic note: these seeds were gifted to me as part of my Fall Solo Cup run, so I decided to full on OROBOROS them by including 1x in this round 2!
