Sooooo!
Who wants to argue about whether or not home growing will be harassed for providing patients with medicine in the future?
Or
Will home growers be seen as the black market in the future?
I truly wish I were optimistic enough to argue about this with you. Preaching to the choir, though.
Here in my state even though we have rec we are not allowed to grow our own medicine
Only the big guys and it’s all about the $$$$
And if they where to allow it it would be taxed , licensed,& regulated so strictly that why would you
So words to live by
no tell
No sell
No smell
And keep to use self about what you do
Only states that are already taking away rights. It will not happen in my state. Cannabis is available to anyone in our state as medicine or recreational if your age 21. 18 for med card holders. Everyone can grow 4 plants anytime. Must follow rules though. Age 21, no minors in the house. Out of public view and not within 1000 yards of a park, school or daycare.
Oregon Voters, voted this in. It can be done in any state. VOTE VOTE VOTE
The other @moderators can chime in on how that now hidden post looked and maybe we can have a discussion but this isn’t the thread for that.
I’d also appreciate if you kept the attempted rabble rousing to a minimum.
This isn’t RIU or any other forum. It won’t get you far. We try to keep it cool here.
I’d appreciate you not minding other peoples business and attempting to be in charge.
The little shield next to my name says I’m in charge and since I’m done arguing and you trying to incite some rise out of me, I’ll see you tomorrow morning about 8amCST
I wouldn’t sweat it bro. Some people don’t find joy, not even at Christmas.
It happens and it is what it is.
Just the wrong time to be acting like that. No real need for that kind of thing and especially not here.
Back to the legalization (or lack thereof) thread posts
Need them to hurry up…holding some shares of some controlled environment companies…will pump my bags
This… I’ve been holding decent shares of tilray and vff like diamonds for a couple years mlol hopefully one day we’ll get there
I don’t really know what this means. But I like the thought of all of us having fun, building our straw men. Reminds me of stuffing old clothes with leaves at Halloween with my mom. Was fun.
CEAD is one I’m heavy in. Have +$20m cash on hand, tiny float, lots of contracts already signed, millions of dollars backlogged projects, currently $6.7m market cap…will effin’ fly with country-wide legalization.
Has been hit by the pumpers in the past, but is at good levels to load again…lol…shilling
I wish the discussion wasn’t centered around a projected price of cannabis once THC is descheduled. There are so many more noteworthy and interesting things deschedulization will bring.
Take for instance Martha Stewart: She is going to have a field day! I for one ain’t much on edibles and drinks, but I’m excited to see what will be coming to market!!
specially hooked up with Snoop
Her legal troubles are mostly BS imo … She was used to make an example for others…the lesson being don’t hide behind a corporate “mask” … It won’t protect you against federal legal action…
lol but now she can go Gangsta and hang with snoop cube dre etc
Just a sarcastic comment about trying to justify homophobia with ridiculous hypothetical arguments. A strawman argument is one that has nothing to do with the discussion at hand, but which is deployed to distract when a person feels they have no leg to stand on. Like “homophobia is ok because if all humans were homosexuals, we’d die out.” But they’re not, and we’re not dying out - it’s just a justification for hate.
Sorry to wander back into politics, I’ll shut up now!
if that’s really all it was, that seems like a very silly reason for a ban. Especially when the poster already apologized and deleted the offending posts
When it comes to legalization though I really wonder how much yeast tech is going to play a part. They’ll probably never capture the whole entourage effect to completely replace the plant (at least for connesiours) using yeasts, but I can easily see using yeast derived THC, CBD, etc to “boost” crummy flower to higher % numbers, and they honestly might be able to replace concentrates and edibles all together.
Will natural growers be able to compete with the 30%+ artificially enhanced buds they might some day sell at the dispo? Against perfectly measured gel cap edibles that don’t need to be extracted and decarbed from plant matter after a 4+ month grow cycle? I kinda doubt it. I almost worry big ag will try to ban home growing “to protect the kids”
Home growing has already been labeled as a danger to the public.
Marijuana grow houses pose a significant cost and risk to public safety in the communities where we live and work.

Probably only in the medical field.
