I had several blackstrap in that room, I’m sure when they are ready and dry I can’t get ya a few of em was very awesome all purple bud plants, def worth sharing!
Yes sir, I’m growing veggies full time in it when it’s done! That was the true motivation for going bigger, didn’t have room for both food and weed
You seem to have a little more natural green where you are compared to where I am. Outside veggies can’t handle the heat, being 1/2 mile closer to the sun, and the massive winds so greenhouse or lots of mesh netting. Of course with the wind that’s a constant battle. I’m envious of your greenhouse.
They can handle heat more than u think, winds an ultimate killer though and the number 1 reason for the greenhouse
110°+ is rough but ya the wind destroys a lot here
I’ve noticed if you keep the roots cool it can get really hot and if you can keep the roots warm in winter it can get below freezing and your plants will be just fine. Shade cloth helps us immensely here in az too. Also having healthy plants that are not short on nutrients and have plenty of big fan leaves for remedy storage is key too.
If you can plant directly in the ground usually your plants stay the right temperature. In winter I used a seed mat heating pad under the pots and it got down to 29° a few nights and they didn’t care much. Your crops grow slower but.
Remedy storage?
So basically you’re a one man Amish crew raising half a barn per day Dayyum! Looking tight homie
Haha nah, I got my DeWalt impact! The Amish would def not allow that hahaha
Ya I got a lot of framing done today, almost ready to run power and get the panels on!
Ya its a new word I just made up. But seriously like nutrients and stuff to help repair damage or keep a plant strong during stress.
Framing
Next up I’ll be doing the sidewalls lower two feet of OSB on each side
Still have electrical and panels after that
Calling it a day today, it’s beer:30 and almost 4:20
Cheers yall
Looking good there growmie. Do you have problems with gopher, voles/moles, ground squirrels or any other rodent that gets up to destructive fuckery? I’ve had 3 figs and 5 onions chewed up at the base and roots. Wtf
I noticed rabbits at night but I don’t think anything really stands a chance at getting in there, if something burrowed in id catch it quick, I spend a lot of time with my plants haha
I wish it was rabbits🤣
U may want to consider planting marigolds in those areas, most rodents can’t stand the smell of em, same with mint
That’s what we thought/read with onions and they ate them.
Hahaha nah they def love onions beets and carrots! Hahaha
How about garlic then?
