How’d you like those Dosi strains? Those were the first things i ever bred, am i reading correctly that you seeded everything? Does that mean my babies have babies?

I think the dosi Kush actually made it to the end, the dosi walker didn’t make it but don’t think there was a lot of seeds that came from Dk, didn’t realize they were from u

@AzSeaindooin420

Many thanks for sharing a few of your seeds this year. They did very well growing 4 plants to a 15 gallon felt planter, and are ready to harvest…

Hey bud so same story I’m having issues telling if my white widow autos is done. Trics look like the melting cactus around here lol

I don’t go off trichomes personally, too lazy to look through a loupe, what I do is go off pistils, if everything is dark orange/amber, receded and no new white pistils then I’ll do a pre harvest defoliation taking any grabbable leaves and leave a few more days and chop. Send a good shot of the buds and I could prob give u a suggestion

Here is how mine looked coming out of the ground today. By that logic, i would be slightly early with the looks here:

My fear leaving mine go longer is humidity / mold here. We get rain every 2-3 days and I worry that i could end up with fungus if i leave it be too long. I could move my potted plants under shelter if need be, but our relative humidity here stays pretty high, averaging around 70% or greater until Nov / Dec.

That’s a bummer, think all they needed was 3-7 days more

May have looked goofy but I woulda put a box fan on em the final week, stagnant conditions allowing spores to land and flourish is more risky than the humidity itself, as long as u kept full time air flow it woulda kept O2 levels high enough molds can’t take over

Either way I think u did a fantastic job with em

Since u did finish with all 4, I am curious…which is your favorite on the nose? Which do u think was best potency? which would u think is best yielder?

Also did u have a preference with bud structure on any of em?

Nose - Well, i wish my pallet was more refined, because they honestly all smell wonderful to me. Giving them a little rub, and breathing in gives powerful citrus like notes off all of them. Just handling the stalks my hands had that same smell. Could it be the CDLC dominating there? Maybe with time and practice I’ll become a better judge, it has with beer anyways (or at least i am very choosy there).

Yield wise - The Amnesia Haze and Alien Triangle both inched slightly ahead of the Black Creme and Double Grape cross’s.

Bud Structure - again, because I’m so new to growing and evaluating, I would reference the above shots i took of each strain. The top of the Amnesia Haze catches my eye currently, but that could just be due to its decent size, and that certainly doesn’t necessarily equate to quality. (see below)

Potency - To be continued. I will let you know how they go, take feed back on each as i can.

Between wind and me shaking that’s what I got. I can take some tonight through the loupe. It’s in my tent.lol

Holy foxtail! That looks right at the mark, defoliate the big stuff, leave for 3 days and harvest 2 hours before sunrise if possible for most terps

Ya citrus and chem is def the cdlc side of things

When I consider bud structure I look at density, shape, and how leafy it is. I want something dense that ain’t gonna be a pain in the ass to trim cuz it’s got a lot of leaves or weird shaped to chase the leaves just a nice solid roundish structure and few leaves in the buds, looks like most was consistently fat and decent amount of sugar leaves

My 9 autos got the chop wash and hang yesterday

2 ogre berry x cdlc
2 og kush x mandarin) x cdlc
4 alien v. Triangle x cdlc
1 double grape x cdlc

Looking at the dob of em I have 2 dates, 6/4 and 6/9 so these were seed to harvest in 66-71 days for em

I cut one down today. Saw a few spots of bud rot but overall didn’t lose much. For sure some very quick autos

I’m hoping to chop some of the Double Grape x CDLC in the next couple of days… I’ve been removing some bud rot affected buds here and there… if I dabble in autos in the future I’m gonna really need to stay on top of BT applications.

TBF this has also been a terrible slog of a summer in terms of rain.
