First Post; My Panama Red is hanging

That third eye buzz sounds absolutely fantastic, and not being too sleepy is a big bonus (I hate sleeping to much :sweat_smile:). Nice job @MissinBissin, I am going to need to find some of those black tuna beans!!!

Who Loves Bag-Seed. I’ve never loved it more. Fresh pics of the Panama Reds a few days ago. Soil amendment tomorrow

Loving the leaf shapes in the canopy and the Buddy system they have.

Here is that Durban from last week @Uprangewilly. With the rough wet and stressful season its had, she looks to have created a Seed !

Beautiful plants. Thank you for posting.

I love Durban Poison. It was one of the first plants I ever grew.

My late father gifted me the Durban Poison about 25 years ago, and I kept it alive as long as I could. Unfortunately spider mites and my own inexperience ultimately killed it.

I’m also just receiving a message saying the Durban is Dying… I’ve a little crop-tour this morning dammit.

Thanks for the feedback UrW.
Are you looking for Durbans?

If you get curious, I have some wonderful Durban Poison seeds from @UpState.
Happy to send a few for contrast @Uprangewilly, your showing some gusto Buddy, happy to help

I would definitely like to compare the two. The ones I got from Johnny are from Guitarzan, are they the same ones that @Upstate has?

Anything coming from @Upstate peaks my interest.

Back when he and I originally talked D Poison, he mentioned his strains were of the Longer variety, 10-16 week potentials I believe. Serious genetics.

At that time I was sourcing outdoor strains, and he sent me something better considered Indoor material.

@upstate if there is anything I’m missing by all means feel free. I just know there is Fire in those D. Poisons of his.

Send me a msg @Uprangewilly, yours goes out with @ColeLennon and @FieldEffect ’s pkg

Have a great week Urw, shit I’ll even take a pic of the seeds and let you choose lol

Did I send you pure Durban? If I did, it is Cannabiogen Durban. 10-14 weeks flowering for that one. A couple different people found nice plants in just a few seeds.

I really enjoyed coffee yesterday and tried the Frankenstein and found it very interesting. Strange/good smell with a nice buzz, unique. Nice strain.

So happy you tasted that one first.

I also came across the History and what exactly went into making Frankenstein… copied here below.

Morning @SativaKid !!!

here it is…

Yeah, I get that, Frankenstein is sort of an OG phenomenon and you can use the search tool to find more info, but here’s what the creator, @JohnnyPotseed says about the making of this strain. I’d refer you to him for more info and availability.

" ALL seeds were bought in 1998
white russian…19-25% 50/50
sour diesel…17-23% 50/50
the pure(skunk#1)…15-19% 65/35 indica dom
blueberry…16-24% 80/20 indica dom
white rhino…14-20% 100% indica
hawaiian snow…18-24% 100% sativa
G13…22-24% 70/30 indica

crossed back with;
White Russian BX1
sour diesel BX1
then added Maui wowie…20-28% 80/20 indica

Frankenkstein - 60% Sativa/40% Indica
avg low THC 17%
avg high THC 24%
avg 60% indica 40% sativa
avg CBD - 1.6%
avg cbn - .05%

total of 3 & 1/2 yrs to blend and stabilize. I’ve ran her on clones only for the past 20+ years"

================

It’s been smoked on a daily basis for over 20 yrs by all our family and friends. It always performs, no matter what you need it to do or for what reason/need. You NEVER become immune or inured to it. Like when you smoke the same thing for a couple of days and then you are like ‘meh’ ,not gonna happen with Frankenstein!

=================

I let the mother go about 5-7 yrs. So the mothers I have at the moment are the 3rd-4th gen of clones. when its given me a lot of babies over the years and finally gets ‘tired’, i retire it to the budroom for one more gift to me lol … flower/bud to smoke. I then pick the best of the clones on hand as my new mothers.

I always run at least 2 mothers and have had as many as 7 mothers, when I was selling to the dispos as a commercial grower.

I actually spent another year & half smoothing her out, brother. lol Also been going on almost 24yrs now. In the lab tests I had to get done here in OK, I have had her test as high as 27-28%, but the usual/norm was around 22-24%

Morning Johnny, I’m jacked that the first smoke report, back from @SativaKid featured Frankenstein. It has really smoothed out and the cure is setting things-up nicely

I had not seen your Full History on how it became so… deep. Thanks @JohnnyPotseed for the additional update.

@JohnnyPotseed I would be tempted to grow that strain. I wonder what would come of breeding my Red GSC to Frankenstein?
