welcome back. hopefully your business in DC is sorted to satisfaction.
interesting to hear you are going to pheno hunt the WMBK. i know OPG kept one of the maple syrup/pepper phenos as a mom. doesn’t seem anyone kept a grape pheno… but several wished they had.
i wonder if thceed still has some of those…
those purple flowers you’re growing look amazing. nice work.
Thanks man, I’m hoping they really help my wife with her nausea issues. The Nurple has been the best strain yet for her so far so I try to keep it stocked up.
The WMBK is a great strain for both of us. Really nice euforic high that really seems to loosen tight neck and shoulder muscles for me and help me relax. If I find a good cut I’ll send you some snips for Abuela.
cool! thanks man. appreciate you.
your earlier smoke report from the contest had my interest peaked. and the fact that you have stated multiple times you reach for that jar a lot is intriguing as well. gotta be good!
glad y’all found something to help out with the stomach issues. so nice when you find one of those puzzle pieces after digging through a pile. the purple in those flowers is very intense. pretty plants.
We drove down to our nearest decent sized city to grab some seafood this weekend and my wife made one of my favorite recipes, lobster Mac n cheese. Had some scallops and she had Tuna steak as well. Hope everyone has had a great weekend so far.
Those scallops look tasty @FirstCavApache64 . Nice choices. I’ve been fortunate to live where I get fresh seafood. Spent a couple decades eating nothing I didn’t catch, or barter for. Abalone was my favorite.
You’re lucky to have fresh seafood local to you. We get fresh oysters brought up from the Chesapeake Bay but other than that it’s hard to find locally out in the sticks. I miss Blue crabs in Old Bay seasoning so much. I grew up eating a ton of those every summer when we went to the beach. We do get great prices on beef by buying a side of beef from a neighbor that raises cattle so there’s plenty of steak and burger meat in the freezer.
I had my first taste of lobster/mac a couple of weekends ago. It was one of many (MANY, MANY, MANY…) delicious offerings served at a wedding reception hosted at River Run. …Very fancy reception, so even the mac & cheese was fancy.
I get the impression you’re growing only from clones. But if you ever get any seeds from that weed you take to relax your neck and shoulders and you’re up for a seed swap, hit me up.
You were just in my neck of the woods then. That’s less than an hour from me. The weed that is a good muscle tension strain is the Wreckage Master Bastard Kush from @THCeed . Let me dig through my seed storage and see how many of em I have left. I plan on running a few to pick a keeper cut of it around, wish I had kept cuttings the first run. If I have a few extra I’d be happy to pass them on. If not and you’re in VA I can always meet up in Charlottesville, Richmond or Harrisonburg to get you a clone when I run it again.
I was “in the audience” watching that grow challenge of the Wreckage Master Bastard Kush earlier this year. …Seems like a very popular strain. Good job @THCeed!
My grows are so small (I’m sticking to the four plant legal limit), I’ve already got more seeds than I’ll be able to grow in this lifetime. But the older I get, the more attractive those pain-relieving strains become.
Why thank you for the kind words. It seems to be the go to for a lot of members, for a lot of reasons. I took a picture of the conversation where he was interested in some. I will look for his address and hopefully get a few things mailed out this weekend.
