Yeah, it went really well. Felt fine the day after and everything healed up quickly. I finally got an eye doctor appointment today after months of trying to get the VA to schedule me one. Hopefully I’ll have new glasses before hunting season starts and I can stock the freezer this fall. I’m swamped in trim jail but at least I finally got started. Plants went a week or two later than they should have but life has been keeping me hopping lately.

you trimming all that purple bud you grew out for mrs.firstcav?
how does it smell? it looked sticky.

Yup, 7 autos of all purple buds. The Nurple is very sweet grape and a little earthy funk. The Anvil are more skunky, funky with very little sweet smell if any. Early samples of the Nurple are really nice. Very indica dominant with awesome anti nausea properties and helpful for falling asleep. I’ll grab some pics once im done trimming.
I’m so excited about the Louis XIII mom i have going. Gotta take a cut for flowering soon. Here’s a crappy pic I used a filter on to block the blurple light.

was an easy grow. not a finicky eater. very indica. structure, leaf shape, cola density. smells real nice. sweet, citrus, earthy. flavors mostly earthy. relaxed high head/body high for about 20min then urgently ready for a nap by 30min.
wouldn’t recommend for daytime anything or driving.

Man it’s good to hear from you bud!! Been doing well, just getting finished trimming all the autos i had hanging and then I’m restarting all the clone mom’s as they’re all way too big to keep going.
Once the room I use for drying is done I’ll be finally getting the 4x4 setup in there for use as my main mother area. Gotta work on getting a spare bathroom setup for drying since I’m taking the old bedroom i use for drying over for moms and autos.
We’ve been going up to DC on most weekends as my Dad is having some health issues so my updates have been limited. I finally got a Louis XIII clone which I’ve been hunting for a few years and got 92OG from Cannaventure Seeds so those will be getting run this next flower run with OGKB 2.0, Afgooey, Stardawg Corey, Motorbreath 15 and at least one of the Blue Kush crosses I made with Doug’s pollen. Probably going to be the Pre 98 Bubba x Blue Kush first and then the Purest Indica x Blue Kush in the next round.

I had been trying to find a legit Louis XIII cut for 3 years after a grow buddy ran some seeds of it and just raved about how great it was. I’ll have to post a pic of the mom later, she’s gorgeous with shiny, dark green leaves. Rusty with Cannaventure Seeds said the 92OG is another one that he really likes so im looking forward to that one as well. Gonna be a stinky flower room with MB15 and the kush girls.

Had a great day today. We got our truck back from the shop after having no vehicle for the last 2 weeks. It’s nice to be mobile again. Also got some great old school sativa seeds in from upstate from the anniversary photo contest. Hope y’all have been doing well and your gardens are thriving.

Congratulations on finding Louis XIII!!! I haven’t been able to find it myself, but I will eventually. Should be fun to see you compare all of those killer OG types you have. Best of luck with them!!

Thanks man. Hopefully I’ll get the flower tent scrubbed down and ready for the next run in the next couple weeks. Should be some nice new strains for me and a couple of old favorites too. Louis XIII, OGKB 2.0, Afgooey, Stardawg Corey, Motorbreath 15, 92OG from Cannaventure Seeds, Grand Daddy Purple from @Til_Valhalla and maybe a small pre 98 Bubba to restock the Bubba jars.

I got Louis XIII from a buddy in a trade but Rusty at Cannaventure Seeds charged around $150 for Triangle Kush if i remember correctly. He threw in a Trinity clone as a freebie with the order and shipped really healthy rooted cuts. Just email him at his email address listed on his website for a list of what hes offering and prices.
I have his Triangle Kush, Trinity, Irene OG and 92OG clones and all have been really good plants. The 92OG is the only one i haven’t flowered out yet but he had really good things to say about that one so I’m looking forward to getting it run and sampling some.
