Hell yeah man! We got the good internet in my neck of the woods like 2 years back. Some how the new internet was cheaper than the old internet too. Go figure.

Yeah we paid 149 for Satellite internet and had a 15GB data limit with speeds around 100k. This is 80 bucks a month, 1GB uploads and downloads and no data limit. They’re doing a bunch of the more rural areas in VA with some Federal government funds they got during the peak of Covid. It will be nice to finally be able to Netflix and chill lol.

Internet guys doing the installation were great. In and out in 30 minutes. First speed test was 770MB which is awesome.
Just got 2 of the security cameras up. It’s crazy how much faster pages load now. I have 4 more cameras to put up but that can wait til tomorrow.

I got a new security system setup now that our wifi is fast enough to support it. It’s been great seeing all the wildlife around the house. Here’s a couple critters that stopped by this weekend.

I had motion sensors before these but i had to go out and check every time they went off. Now i can just hit a button on my phone and see if it’s a possum, deer, bear or roving dog. It’s really worth it to me. I’m getting a few cameras for my dad’s place in DC but they’re more for security than nature watching. He does have fox and deer in his neighborhood so who knows what his will catch.
