Foreigner Goes Legal

Good day all:

A few updates.

The NL has been, and continues to be, a pain in my ass. I’ve been finding it difficult to keep up with her calcium demands. Even in veg she’s craving more -

The auto cheese is growing slowly but she is growing. I’m hoping she explodes soon-

This jar lives on my coffee table. I bought it from ikea @Mr.Sparkle. It’s how I keep my lady happy-

I have a very similar setup. I just started a few seeds and bubba is one if them but bbn not sure if it is going to sprout. Other than that I might get two phenos of peyote forum (peyote purple x forum cut gsc) keep going!!

Hopefully the bubba works out for you @Joboo. Mine did not end well

Yeah it’s taking its sweet ass time to sprout. I keep checking the cubes and I like to think I’m seeing movement or am I just wanting to see it…I wont try again with bubba until I can do more at once and increase my chances

Well it turns out the bubba was dead in the water but my other one sprouted so I’ll be running two peyote forums…hoping for maybe a different pheno. I’ll have a log going up here soon

Good day all:

I’ve got a few weeks left to go on this run. The WW is bulletproof with only the smallest of issues being easily dealt with.

The NL has had her fair share of trouble. I’ve been having calcium issues the whole run exacerbated by the fact it took almost 2 weeks to get my calmag because of covid.

You can see she has suffered/yellowed a bit but everything is on track. Buds are stacking up nicely. I had to stake her out to keep all the buds standing upright:

I might need to let this run go ~10 days longer than expected due to scheduling concerns but haven’t decided yet. Should be fine, if a little more amber than normal.

In other news the cheese auto is hitting her stride and starting to speed up growth.

Good day all.

So things are progressing well. The NL won’t win any beauty contests but she is stacking dense golfball nuggets. It smells like a skunk died climbing a pine tree.

The White Widow is the opposite. Long fluffy buds with elongated tips and wicked foxtailing. She smells like armpits and sandalwood.

I think both will turn into very nice, very different smoke.

Here are a few pics of the Widow. Note long buds and foxtailing:

Here are a few pics of the NL. So heavy she’s flopping over. I might stake her or I might not. It depends how lazy I am.

And finally the little auto. She needs an uppot but I will get there soon.

Good day all.

I got around to doing a transplant on the cheese auto. I’ll probably go up to a gallon in two weeks.

I also tied her down for misbehaving. She will end up outside in, say, 3 weeks.

Goodnight day all.

The WW is at 58 days and the NL is at 51 days so I’m getting close.

I’m going away August 2-7 so I plan to harvest on August 1 (I decided to let them go longer rather than chop on time and have someone burp the jars for me when I’m away).

I plan to let them hang the week I’m gone and sort it out when I get back.

The tent will be shut down for the week I’m away. It’s been on for 6 months straight.

So that means the WW will go 70 odd days and the NL will go 65ish. This is about a week longer than I took them last time but everything should work out.

Here’s a couple of pics:

The WW is foxtailing like mad.

The NL is flopping so hard I might need to fashion a girdle for her.

So the auto cheese is moving faster than expected. I had planned to uppot in a week or so but it’s ready to go now. I just need to get around to it.

She’s already throwing pistils like mad too.

Good day all:

Things are getting close in the tent. From left to right: WW, NL, NL.

Everything is fading out as they come to the end of life. Not as colourful as last time yet, but getting there.

The NL in the middle is so heavy the whole plant is falling over. The good news is it’s falling in the “right direction” so I haven’t bothered to stake it out.

I will be chopping them all in 10 days. Everything will be finished up by then. I gave them what is likely their second last water/fert.

Here are a couple pics of the WW

Thanks @Joboo - they stink up the place when the tent is open.

Well they look great…probably a good week or so left on em. Do you flush?

I keep the fertilizer going until the very end. When I water regularly I like to get 1-2 litres of runoff to wash away any accumulated salts.

So a regular micro flush but not flushing in the traditional sense.

Good day all:

It has been ten days since I last took pics of the auto and my she has grown.

I’ve transplanted, flopped her over and tied her down a couple of times. She is starting to show some branching.

Pistils be brewing

Looking good, your the second person I have seen here today training autos, interested to see how they do, as most growers say dont stress them out

Thanks @Shadey!

My thinking is that as long as the training isn’t stressful then the growth should be evenly distributed, not hindered. I guess I just trained it like I train my photos.

But, I’m also about to transplant it for the third time so I’m breaking all the rules. I transplant gently though.
