Foreigner Goes Legal

Getting close on the NL and the PS

The WW and and CM/CO will have to be kept alive a little bit longer. The WW smells like sweet sweet body odour.

One little seed poking through.

As the bud dries the seeds make themselves known.

Busy day in the Foreigner household.

Harvested a bunch of seed (2 crops) from dried buds. I used the frisbee technique that I learned on the forum (can’t remember who but works great, thanks!)

Looks like a pretty good haul of seeds for having pollinated only one tiny branch. A few more crosses to come.

I cut down the early finishers last week and broke them all down and jarred them up - I’ll add a boveda in a few days.

Tomorrow I chop the rest, let them hang a week and then break them down.

Have a lovely day

Good day all:

These White Widows are dry and will go into jars tomorrow. This branch weighs ~20 grams.

I’m guessing a QP from the whole plant.

Have a lovely day

The WW harvest is looking promising. There are 6 similar sized branches.

I will be keeping a close eye on the humidity with these little guys:

Final tally:

White Widow - 178g (5 gallon pot)
Northern Lights - 87g (5 gallon pot)
Critical Mass/California Orange 24g (1 gallon)
Ace of Spades/Querkle 50g (3 gallon)

Total - 339 grams or 1.13 grams per watt.

The NL and the Spade/Querkle were chopped at day 56. The WW and the CM/CO were chopped on day 63

The obvious winner here is the White Widow. Followed closely by the CM/CO. They are both heavy yielders and will be run again in my garden for sure. I’ve got a WW ready for flip right now.

The WW smells like sweet armpits
The NL smells like sweet dank pine
The Spades/Querkle smells neutral but good
The CM/CO smells like fruity hash.

I made a few crosses too:

(Cm/Co) x WW
(Cm/Co) x NL
(Cm/Co) x (Spade/Querkle)
(Cm/Co) x (Cm/Co) makes an f2 (?)

Overall I’d say this has been a very good run. All plants were treated the same and the only issue was the NL got a little burnt. All the others are troopers.

Here’s a happy Foreigner planning to make some hash because I have no more jars

Have a lovely day.

Nice job bud! Too much flower and not enough jars is a great problem to have

Thanks for sharing the results with us!

Thanks @MumenRyder! I think my favourite part of it is if someone asks me what I did during quarantine I can tell them I grew 3/4 of a pound!

Ok so we’re up and rolling again.

Left WW. The other 2 are NL. The WW is at 3 weeks, the NL at 2 weeks. The widow takes a week longer so this should be staggered perfectly.

Cut off a lot of undergrowth. Will still likely take more in the near future.

Showing a calcium deficiency on the NL and it took 10 days for my cal mag to show up due to Covid. Hopefully they will rebound nicely.

I vegged these a little too long and might have to snip off a few flowering tops to make extra room so I don’t outgrow my tent. We will see. They are still young so it shouldn’t hurt them too much.

But all is well and full steam ahead!

Have a lovely day

Transplanted all into final home of 5 gallon pots.

Did 2nd and final defoliation sub canopy.

Trimmed off a few tops that were interfering with canopy uniformity.

Have a lovely day

My first auto attempt. It’s a Cheese.

So, I tried growing some photos on my balcony last season and was foiled by light pollution. I’m hoping the auto isn’t similarly affected but we will see. The seed was a freebie anyway.

She will go outside when she’s a little bigger.

All the best

I swapped to autos outside for the same reason, I had no problems other than bugs and a bit of bud rot.

Good all all -

~day 30 flower.

Here are the 2 NLs. Both are showing a bit of calcium deficiency but I’ve added the Calmag and figure I will just ride it out. They will be just fine. Buds are swelling fast.

And here’s a little WW.

I’m going away the first week of August and fortunately I’ve timed this to harvest and dry at just about the perfect time. I might need to find someone to help burp them for me when I’m gone.

All the best. Sorry for the crap NL pics. The sun isn’t right on the room.
