Foreigner Remains Legal

My vehicle is a 12 year old diesel with 200k on it. Make me an offer.

Unless this is a joke. You know how I feel about that.

Why don’t you go stick something somewhere?

Yet another ingenious idea that may not work.

Basically, you place three or four pots aside your motherplant (wisteria in my case) filled with soil (+ hormons powder in my case) and you let it “running” until the last pot contain a portion of the initial plant.

You wait the point where all pots are rooted , then you just cut the “bridges” one time you see the roots on the perimeter of the pots. It’s pretty fast, because the vigor is powered by a big matured motherplant and not individual cuttings. More reliable too than “marcotage” that is an hell to keep rightly moist during weather swings.

I’m a bit high, not sure i answer your question. Or if it was a question ^^ Blame foreigner in doubt, he use subliminal hidden PNGs to push us to roll when we land in his thread.

That has to be stressful. I feel for you my friend.

I’m going to play Captain Obvious and say that the problem with any auto watering system failure results in catastrophic damage in some cases. At the very least, the neighbors below you would be unhappy. It’s not like an auto cat feeder where you come home and the cat is just fatter (or skinnier, depending on the failure).

I’d water them for you if I lived nearby. The Orange Goji would be considerably smaller by the time you got home though

:joy: super liminal.

Back scratching and the like. Sounds fair to me.

Yeah I think you’re right. I’ll have more to say about it shortly but my initial judgement is not favourable.

Hurry up beta testing don’t you know I’m on a schedule here?!

Gardening by candlelight. Takes me back a long way.

Anyway, this is the extent of my plan.

I got around to putting them in buckets. Some 5G some 7G. A couple didn’t have holes in the bottom and I couldn’t find my drill so I just smashed holes with a screwdriver. Not pretty but effective.

And now those stupid spike things:

I have no idea if this is going to work:

There is no effective way to adjust the flow on these drippers. We will see.

The weather seems to be on my side. Rain doesn’t really help me but at least it’s not going to be 30C the whole time. And overcast which is also good.

And my plants only drink carbonated water because they are aristocrats.

I don’t expect them to thrive, or even care really, I just hope they survive. I figure the buckets will buy me 4-5 days and the “reservoir” should buy me 1-2 more so we’re in the right ballpark.

@Pigeonman the bucket in a big bucket of water technique worked well. Fully hydrated. I should note that the particular batch of Promix for this bucket has been sitting on the balcony in a garbage bag for at least 2 years :joy:

So if we don’t hear from Foreigner again it’s likely his plants all rose up and murdered him.

If I didn’t know any better I’d think that was a joke!

This has happened before. He’ll be fine.

Actually, he described the plants as “aristocrats,” which are (typically) the ones who get murdered when us plebs rise up. So if we don’t hear from Foreigner, maybe it’s because he’s on the run after guillotine-ing His Royal Plants.
