Fortman's Fiasco's, Bumbles and works in Progress

A morning pic of the backyard bush(es). Been away from home for a couple days and was eager. Ý I got home it was just too dark. So, here’s someÿ pictures!!]

The day that I left I top dressed everyone with a 75/25 ratio between gaia green bloom and grow nutrients. I watered it all in with a compost tea made up of worm castings, steer manure, kelp meal and molasses. Nice to see they responded in kind by adding a bit of size

I must add, my wife commented just the other day. These plant are starting to smell, I was like SURE DO!! She proceeded to ask, You gonna cut any of them down, Nope!! I said sweetie, they’re going to be way worse in the weeks to come. Said the big one is a kush cross and these little Crippys are Smelling Dank as F and only going to get louder  She said " We are going to have to get the strongest smelling flower baskets and hang them around the yard to try and mask this. Guess who’s going to the garden center tomorrow to get some pretty things, THIS GUY!!!

This morning I spread some sheep manure around the base of the plants to assist the phase these plants are heading into now Flower :)!!!

I was able to identify the sex of these plants and the Island Crippy is male.
Pressure Skunk, Dankmaster Crippy are female. CripXmas A2 is fem so this is just still something to be excited about even though I knew.

The Crippy have been very easy to handle overall but I did get the seeds going late as well as feeding them a stronger dose of food but now they are on autopilot and I just get to enjoy there uniqueness. Great plants to grow.

Later this afternoon I need to go give the Kush4 x SSDD x PUCK bcs3 a lower branches clean up. Just wanted to give a quick update, Toodles

@luxton the plant that is closest is that little CripXmas A2 (3rd photo) with that awesome variegated leaves just starting to show up in the last set of top leaves to show up. Being Crippy is a fast flowering line I’m confident they’ll find there stride quickly and will finish within time.

The Kush 4 x Sunshine Daydream x PUCK bx3 I’m more worried about. Honestly I’m getting a bit worried when looking at timeline count down with this plant. I think the lights around the yard/neighbors houses may have stayed off an earlier flower start so I took some steps to remove close proximity lights to see if this helps.

I’m starting to see the shift in all the plants thou so just waiting for it to go full blown flower. I’m already starting to think of building a make shift smaller hoop house with a led Bar light to provide that extra light plus a heater if needed when I punch into October weather. Just the day in the life of an OD grow

Here’s a couple photo of some of the indoor plants. In the 3x3 I have a handful in there but thinning slowly as I’m pulling the males and tossing them into the 4x2 running on 12/12 so I can do some pollen harvesting.

I have 2 Spencer’s Gift in there. P1 & P3 and for the Shellcatcher I have P1 & P3 as well. The Shellcatcher today for the 1st time on a stem rub smacked me in the nose with a petroleum oil smell. When I originally read that that the scent profile it made I thought to myself how the hell is it going to do that well. I can absolutely attest that it honeslty does. It has that gritty, stank, old motor oil funk. I’m in shock about it. The 1 female Shellcatcher and 1 Male both have an Identical smell. The 2nd Shellcatcher male doesn’t sport the motor oil smell and has a mild berry funk but I’ll see in the days to come from the 12/12 change.

In my 3x3, females I have in there (kush4 x Sunshine Daydream) x PUCK bcs3, Spencer’s Gift, Shellcatcher, Dankmaster Crippy, CripXmas A2.

In the outdoor just a couple update pictures

The Dankmaster Crippy has taken the lead on height about 2-3" taller then either the Island Crippy or Pressure Skunk whereas it was lagging behind just last week.
On this CripXmas A2 starting to show a little bit of varigation

Thank you. She’s been seeded up so I have future projects to work with now.

My brother was by a couple days ago and said he recognized the smell and look of my Bagseed Beauty and Said it reminded him of White Rhino. All i know is the effect is strong, cerebral at first then progressively get more intense and sits hard on the body afterwards. I think this is why ive been growing it continuously for 2 years
