Thanks @Papalag!

Holding feed at 1.6ec for 2 more weeks. Trying to slowly reduce N as wedding cake is too green for my liking.

Day 35

Sorbet

Wedding Cake

Finally flushed all crates from my last grow. I dumped about 40gallons to remove all the salt buildup from the previous grow with 5.5ph water and then flushed with 1.2ec of megacrop (cheapest stuff I’ve got) until ph was set between 5.52-6 on my crates. Counting on the ph to settle around 5.6 by tomorrow.

The next run is a duplicate of the current grow. But will be mainly wedding cake. Some really ugly girls…but hoping to turn them into something great.

Nice shot of Sorbet

Next run lowering N a tad on flip. Increasing Ca/Mg/S and going with a nitrozyme/silica and Mg foliar spray for first 2weeks every 3 days. I’ve also been increasing PK by .5ec each run seeing if I can push these just a tad more.

Nice work.

Do you mapito masters use any myco, baccilus or other?

Nope. To be honest not sure if cannazym would kill it as I’m using that to break down all the roots.

@ifish any thoughts?

I’ve got great white myco sitting around…and if I’m unable to use it I’ll try and send some your way.

No myco or anything like that for us : )

Cannazym kills it?

@GramTorino would you like some great white?

Videos and pics on promix site are eyeopening…for me. The ones related to Myco, baccilus and other root snacks.

You’re going to love promix. Never could figure out coco and promix turned out to be amazing!

Promix HP with autopots. They are going to a new home this weekend

I had some issues that I neglected lol

Not sure , I think I read somewhere myco also doesn’t like salts maybe high p , maybe that was bacto I don’t know , I see others using salts with myco , but I don’t think it would be worthwhile or work well in Mapito ( ph 5.6 )

Love the neon pipe cleaners dude.

Interesting. Maybe I’ll do a comparison grow one of these days.

Tent 2 is up after transplanting and turning the lights off for 24hrs.

Besides the bad shape all the wedding cake are in these guys will grow into the lights. I’m going to try and get the lights down really low and keeping heat up during lights off to try and minimize stretch…or so I’ve read.

Pretty much game to experiment here so if anyone has tips I’d love to hear from you. What is it called when you pinch the stem?

I will be making a trellis for each crate with tons of pipe cleaners @anon20530495.

8 crates wedding cake with 1 each
4 of these crates are Sorbet with 6 plants in total.

Next wedding cake run will be 24 clones and I’ll make sure they are tiny.

You gotta train those Wedding Cake. After seeing the stretch, my first thought was, top and train. I’d love to hear the argument against it.

I’ve already flipped the switch so isn’t topping at this point out of the question?

Haha yes. Exactly :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:. Was more speaking to the clones or future runs.

Next time criss cross them , share the stretch across many new side branching creating lots of tops , instead of stretch concentrated on just a few main tops : )

The plant will make X amount of stem and leaf in stretch for its size , so say one cola plant will reach 2m , if it was flipped on its side , 20 tops would be created and the two meter stretch would then be spread across the 20 new tops thus plant not as tall , buds will be smaller but many many more of them

The initial criss cross will shorten the plant hieght by half , and then the side branching becoming tops in strech will lower plant finishing hieght again considerably : )

You can still do this , useing a pipe or a jar , to slowly manipulate the stem into a bend , so as not to kink it or snap it , if you do go for it , visualise what your doing first with them all togeater in relation to one another , and choose a nice spot , not woody , to do the bend , if it feels stiff and not doable , move on up stem , or do over a few days : )

Criss cross is only good if all plants under one screen/trellis , if plants are Separite screen each , then a more creative double bend question mark type training required to keep plant centered over its own crate lol but that’s too time consuming and messing about for me , I’m too lazy haha

This isn’t gonna be fun lol

Let’s hope they survive the transplanting!

I’ll throw some pics of my trellis once I figure out my design

Transplanting or bending ???

Sometimes I twist / roll the area I’m bending at same time togeather , this helps reduce kinking , you can also make an area your about to bend more playable by lightly squeezing it or twisting it before hand , lots of techniks to the bending : )
