Franchise Genetics Gummo Co-Op (closed)

Just got home and unfortunately there was a hiccup when I was away. 2 of the 5 seedlings didn’t make it. :disappointed:
We’re only down to 3, not the greatest number so I’m a little saddened about that. I will have to grow these into bigger plants to make sure the run is successful. All I can hope for is 1 male 2 females. If it turns out all females I will have to turn to Sts as a last resort to preserve these.
One seams to be a little small but the other two seam to be on par for the grow time.
Just transplanted into 1 gallon pots, fingers crossed we have no more hiccups.

Dang yea best of luck. I’d say either way this goes, make sure to take some clones and wait until they are rooted before you try any STS spray, just in case

I will most likely be taking clones. Especially if there’s only one female or all females lol. It will all work out but the run will take longer than expected…… unless the unthinkable happens

Heres hoping for the two bushy ones are female and the other a male, either way all’s good and healthy👍

Good luck with your run - following along

Not much to update other then there’s one confirmed female. It’s the smallest one so if it turns out to be the only one I’m going to start cloning it.

So healthy!

They look good! The veins/serrations on the leaf blades are very pronounced, I really like how they look.
Congrats on the confirmed lady!

Slight problem that I can’t say was ever a problem for me

Does anyone have enough extra Sts supplies to change one plant?
Not a fan of making fem seeds for a repro but that is the only way we can get this to the end and keep this strain alive.
@coopactiongroup is this an acceptable way to carry on with this run or does it disqualify this strain?

hi Kushking, looks like you got all females? sorry to hear about that. Nice looking plants though.

We’ll deliberate on it and let you know.
I think we might have a couple action group members on vacation for the weekend, so if anyone is unavailable for a group discussion,
we’ll probably get back to you with an answer monday or tuesday when everyone can weigh in on it.

Yeah all females. I will be leaving for work next week so I won’t be flipping them soon. Just keep me posted whenever you guys all figure it out.

I can probably get the chemicals for the STS to you, let me know if and when you need it.

No worries bud. I cannot speak for the action group but it will be talked about. That said, if you do need STS chemicals, I have lots. Enough to make 33 batches with Sebrings instructions, lol. So I got you covered. Probably easier for me to get it to him @repins12 since I am in Canada. :v:

Gotcha. I knew he was in Canada and I have gotten it there safely several times…

I have gotten some into the USA a few times as well but my last couple attempts didn’t make it. I just send in a card so I would think it depends on how it’s sent. The crunchy envelope must tip them off, lol.

Thanks @repins12 and @DougDawson! It will definitely be needed to keep these alive.
I’d purchase the materials but I don’t usually make fem seeds and I’d end up sitting on the stuff forever lol.
I will have to watch the Sebrings video because I’ve never made it before… I’ve used pre made feminizing spray but it didn’t work so I’m definitely going to start reading up.

No worries, I have never made fem seeds myself. It looks like you need 0.8 grams of silver nitrate and about 5 grams of Sodium Sulfate. I have the Pentahydrate. He says he bought 10 grams of silver nitrate a decade ago and is down to his last gram or less. Pretty sure my 27 grams will last forever, lol.

Lol yeah that’s a lot! What’s pentahydrate?
