Freakin' With The Freaker's Ball Seed Collective

Ok. we are still left with no evidence or patterns observed.

i have a small pattern, 13 weeker viet.

There are as many views on what is a Landrace as there are Landraces. I’m a bit lost here.

What does it matter in practical terms if a strain is labeled Landrace? Our Freaker’s Ball Seed Collective has a definition of a landrace strain but it would be folly to think this definition is the same as would be used in the cannabis community at large.

To me it seems you are arguing semantics rather than strains. If you feel good about calling a strain a Landrace then go for it.

well they fall squarely into it , in same time they dont squarely fall into, and 13 stays 13. 14 stays 14

i also clarified, that i have no clear reason to think those were lowered by inbreeding, already said it, so were left with a difference.

we know what each northern solider was able to do”? doesent matter, i have enough southern Lines mentioned.

we know what forgein genetic were brought in”?
Thats principially a very short statement to try prooving a whole tropical belts shortflowering Species genetics. And doesent bare any proove if you ask me.

When i asked : do you have a Pattern to back your claims, its ok to say such a statement, thats what i was expecting. For me a Pattern needs to be distinguished from its counterargument.

By saying everywhere were forgein Species were brought in, there were shortflowering findings, you dont disproove the counterargument. The counterargument that those were highaltitude breeds not debunked…

So, no real proove in this short statement i think.
I leave open if it really could be confirmed some foregein genetics came in.

But i can so easily counter and say, the short tropical varieties appeared always around mountains. I would never go so far and call it any evidence…
Like said i grew 13 weeker Cambodian viet.
called Hoabac. Was mentioning it many times.

did i make the impression if it matters what you label a strain?

I rather told him that his seemingly deeper explonation of a assumed Process of forgein genetics, Labelled as Heirloom, doesent debunk anything, nor did it wake me up out any confusion. And i rather told him with it that my findings are not wrongly labelled as Landraces, and that im not debunked now. Cause They are labelled simply as 13 weeker tropical vietnamese.

so, i probaby wasnt arguing shematics, i was rather clarifing that there is no misslabeling in my findings. My findings are labelless, just 13 weeker vietnamese collected Lines.

My point was that you seemed most interested in arguing. I’ve experienced this first-hand with you more than once myself.

I don’t come to OG to argue and it runs counter to the OG spirit. But you do you.

This is becoming pretty repetitive and is going nowhere. If you’re going to continue I’ll leave the thread for a while.

Thank you! I was told the Mazandaran hasn’t been grown out by them so they couldn’t tell me what to expect. Told them I’d bump it up to my next grow so they can have pictures/flavor profile

Hang around @allotment.

It grows along the Caspian Sea on the Northern slope of the elburz(sp?)mountains. It’s a real wet area. When I saw pictures of it I was surprised what it looked like. I was picturing a sativa.

Where’d you find pics? They said they didn’t have any. I’d love to see

I don’t know if thelandraceteam had a photo up or if they gave me the photo in our private messages. I looked for it, and the bulk of our conversation seems to have been erased. I’m sure I saw an Afghani type plant labeled mazandaran. I’ve been looking for a legendary Caspian Sea sativa since I read about it between 3 and 5 years ago. Had the picture they showed me look like anything but what I saw I assure you it would have jumped on it. The photo was the only reason I didn’t buy it. They’re saying they never had a picture of it, then I don’t know what the hell I was looking at. It was around November 19th that I saw the photo. Looks like your typical indica. I remember telling them I was surprised by its appearance. Maybe they had picked a random photo that they thought it would look like, and then took it down. I may have it in my photographs. I’ll check when I get a minute

You’re right, I found it. Must have missed it multiple times myself and I bet others have as well which is probably why I’m probably the first to buy some.
Yeah, they said in email they needed pics so maybe this bud is just another strain and they’re using it as stock photo. They have no other pics of it

The landrace team are shady. They steal pics and work off other people, sometimes without permission. They also had like 5 strains available in 2019 and now suddenly have almost 60. I personally wouldn’t trust or use anything that came from them.

This is exactly why what the Freaker’s Ball Seed Collective is doing is so important IMHO

Their prices are high, and their morals are low. But I do believe their stock is legitimate, which is why I bought some of it. Anytime they list something new now, I go on Instagram and try to find the person they got it from. Usually you can find them. I’d rather give the source the business.
