No man, that’s their way of fucking with you. That’s how they notify you. They take the seeds out and send you the empty packaging sealed with green tape that says “Inspected by US Customs”. Inside there’s a letter that says “nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah, we got your seeeeds!!”
The language is a little more “official”, but that’s what it amounts to.
It happened to me just last week. My JOTI group buy order got nabbed in San Francisco. 10 strains, 160 seeds. For $1.18 USD per seed. 
I hate to be the one to tell you dude, but if there’s green customs tape on it you’re probably hosed.
Man, as soon as I heard the word “Customs” I’d have had her texting me a picture. Your patience is admirable.

I don’t know what it is. It might just be the Customs label they put on every package. There is one on the last package I got from India. Fingers crossed. About 30 minutes or so I’ll know.

I just had my wife open it. She said there’s a ton of seeds in there! 17 varieties! Who wants to help me dive into these things!? Just an exploratory run. Couple plants. No Seeds necessary, although if you get a champion I would ask for a cutting, and I would like everything to go into a thread so we have lots of pictures to send in.

That really sucks you lost your jotl order. That’s a heartbreaker. Fu-*ing customs. When is this sh-t going to end? It’s not even illegal to have a fu-*ing seed. A**holes… now let me tell you how I really feel LOL

I’m a seed hoarder so I will show restraint knowing I won’t get around to them any time soon but I’m curious about which varieties you just got in! Of course if you already explained earlier in thread I’ll just scroll up

Congrats man, glad your seeds got to you safe and sound. The word customs always sends a chill down my spine. Never worried about trouble, just about my seeds being replaced with that Nah nah na nah nah letter Guitarzan spoke of.

I don’t even know everything that’s in there. He felt bad for the delayed order so send some of everything he ever got. Indianseeds97 on IG. I really just want to have a massive Indian Land race thread, showcasing what India has to offer. Guys like Cocogenes, Indianseeds97, Indian heirloom Seed Company, landrace Mafia, and Sadhu seeds are all trying to collect these varieties before they disappear or change. I think most people go by pictures when they order weed. These guys need pictures

You would think at one point the Customs guys would just look the other way, but sadly that’s not the case. I know you’re right. Isn’t there something about an ungerminated seed technically not being illegal even though the federal government takes this stuff anyway?

I doubt it would even change if they made it legal federally since its the Department of Agriculture that confiscates them. It’s more about invasive species and pesticides than the fact that it’s pot. At least that’s how I see it. It’s legal here in Canada on a federal and provincial level. We still have our seeds seized for agricultural reasons sadly.
